  • Publication number: 20240157321
Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of lubricating material preparation, and specifically relates to a halloysite nanotube (HNT)-encapsulated ionic liquid (IL) microcapsule, a self-lubricating fiber textile composite, and a preparation method and use thereof. In the present disclosure, the preparation method includes the following steps: dispersing a HNT and an alkali metal salt of a saturated fatty acid in water, dispersing a resulting inner surface-modified HNT and an IL in an organic solvent, injecting the IL into the HNT in the mixed dispersion under vacuumizing to obtain an IL-filled HNT, and encapsulating a resulting IL-filled HNT at a tube end with an encapsulating material to obtain the HNT-encapsulated IL microcapsule.

  • Patent number: 10015098
Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention provide for an unparalleled scalable and reliable load distribution design for use in a large class of network applications, including cloud computing in modern data center networks and similar services, which can benefit from the invention by taking advantage of commonly available network components and systems. In particular, various embodiments of the invention extend a logical load distributor model to include distributed clusters of loosely coupled components. Certain embodiments accomplish this by combining existing silicon-based network components and functionalities with the scalability and reliability provided by virtualized processes in order to improve critical load distribution and load balancing performance without requiring costly upgrades to infrastructure and without negative structural impact on the overall network. Some embodiments take advantage of hierarchical designs to further increase scalability.

  • Patent number: 9954758
Abstract: A virtualized network function (VNF) provisioning system includes a plurality of computing device that are provided in a physical topology and that are coupled to a network. A management device is coupled to the computing device through the network. The management device receives VNF system information for a VNF system through the network. The VNF system includes a plurality of VNFs that are provided in a virtual topology. The management device then determines a plurality of physical groups from the physical topology that each identify at least one computing device. The management device then determines a plurality of virtual groups from the virtual topology based on a ratio of traffic that will leave each virtual group and a number of VNFs in each virtual group. The management device then provides the VNFs in a first virtual group on the at least one computing device in a first physical group.
