Abstract: A method includes obtaining a roadside sensing result that indicates a first group of location points that are of a traffic participant sensed by a first roadside device in a preset time period, and a multi-source fusion sensing result that indicates a second group of location points obtained by fusing a plurality of groups of location points that are of the traffic participant and that are obtained by a plurality of sensing devices in the preset time period; matching the roadside sensing result with the multi-source fusion sensing result; and generating first sensing capability information of the first roadside device based on the matching result.

Abstract: A map generation method includes generating first information, where the first information indicates that a first event in a first tile is associated with a second tile, the first event is a dynamic event in a map, and the first tile and the second tile are two different tiles in the map; and storing the first information.

Abstract: A transmitter generates a V2X message, where the V2X message includes reference object indication information and position indication information, the reference object indication information indicates at least one reference object, and the position indication information indicates a position of a target object relative to the at least one reference object; the transmitter sends the V2X message to a receiver; and the receiver determines target position information of the target object based on the reference object indication information and the position indication information. In the foregoing process, the transmitter transfers relative position information relative to the reference object to the receiver by using the V2X message, and does not need to perform deflection. In addition, the V2X message indicates a reference object on which position information is based.

Abstract: A high-definition map update method includes obtaining n-dimensional feature information of a dynamic event in n dimensions, where the n dimensions are n factors that affect representation of the dynamic event in a high-definition map, the dynamic event is an event that causes dynamic information in the high-definition map to change, and n is an integer greater than one, and determining, based on the feature information, a representation manner of the dynamic event in the high-definition map, where the representation manner includes at least one of an extended attribute representation manner or a dynamic layer representation manner.
