  • Publication number: 20210149746
Abstract: A method for scheduling a computational operation based on graph data, which includes: dividing graph data into multiple partitions; scheduling the partitions to be allocated to multiple processors; successively assigning the partitions to corresponding threads of the processors for computation according to a respective degree of criticality of each partition; determining whether an idle processor exists, a processor being the idle processor when the processor includes one or more idle threads; communicating the idle processor with other processor(s) to find partition(s) to be computed and corresponding to the other processor(s); selecting and determining a partition to be computed; and migrating and binding the determined partition to be computed to thread(s) of the idle processor for processing. The present disclosure further relates to a system, a computer readable medium, and a device for scheduling a computational operation based on graph data.

  • Publication number: 20210149960
Abstract: A graph data storage method for non-uniform memory access architecture (NUMA) processing system is provided. The processing system includes at least one computing device, each computing device corresponding to multiple memories, and each memory corresponding to multiple processors. The method includes: performing three-level partitioning on graph data to obtain multiple third-level partitions based on a communication mode among computing device(s), memories, and processors; and separately storing graph data of the multiple third-level partitions in NUMA nodes corresponding to the processors. A graph data storage system and an electronic device are further provided.

  • Patent number: 10680992
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to subscribe a subscriber to a content item appearing at a first position in a news feed of content items based on selection of a setting to subscribe to the content item. A pop up window including a response associated with the content item on a user interface displayed by a computing device associated with the subscriber is presented to the subscriber based on posting of the response. Scrolling of the news feed in response to user inputs is concurrently presented on the user interface while the pop up window is presented. At least one selectable setting to dismiss the pop up window from view on the user interface is provided. In response to dismissal, the content item assumes the first position in the news feed or assumes a second position in the news feed based on a re-ranking.

  • Patent number: 10574775
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to detect a communication link quality that fails to satisfy a communications bandwidth threshold. A cache associated with a client computing device of a user is queried for content items not consumed by the user for presentation in a news feed displayed on the client computing device. At least one content item of the content items not consumed by the user is presented in the news feed.

  • Patent number: 10249009
Abstract: A social networking system provides a content feed to a client device associated with the user of a social networking system, the content feed including a plurality of content items. The social networking system identifies one or more missed content items, of the plurality of content items, that were part of the content feed and were not displayed by the client device. The social networking system generates a subsequent content feed that includes one or more content items that have not been previously provided to the client device and a missed feed unit that is associated with the one or more missed content items. In one embodiment, the missed feed unit, when selected, redirects the user to a new page that presents a different content feed including the identified missed content items. The social networking system provides the subsequent content feed to the client device for presentation to the user.
