Abstract: A UHF data carrier (60) has a cylindrical plastic housing (50) having an open end and a closed end. A UHF mass tag (10) is arranged in the plastic housing (50). A metal plate (30) is arranged on the side of the UHF mass tag (10) facing away from the closed end. A spacer (20) is arranged between the UHF mass tag (10) and the metal plate (30). The spacer (20) is adhered to the UHF mass tag (10) and the metal plate (30) to form a composite for producing the UHF data carrier (60). The composite is inserted into the plastic housing (50) such that the UHF mass tag (10) faces towards the closed end of the plastic housing (50).

Abstract: A method for fitting a transponder with a chip and a coil to a metal body is disclosed. The coil is wound in the form of a bar and is electrically connected at its ends to the electrical connections of the chip, forming a transponder. The transponder formed is introduced in its entirety into a cavity in the metal body in such a manner that the coil axis (X) lies parallel to the metal surface. At least part of the coil is positioned in the region of a window in the metal body.

Abstract: The invention concerns a transponder arrangement in which the transponder is disposed on a conductive surface. According to the invention, the coils forming the transponder antenna are aligned at a slight distance from the metal surface with their main magnetic field direction parallel to this surface.

Abstract: An arrangement for identifying a movable object includes a transponder disposed on the movable object and including an electrical memory that can be read out in a wireless manner by an electrical interrogating device which is disposes in proximity of the object. A sensor arrangement is disposed on the object and electrically linked to the transponder for writing a read-out-capable status information into the memory in response to irregular or unauthorized use of the object.
