Patent number: 9149889Abstract: A method for orientating a focused laser cutting beam eccentrically relative to the nozzle axis of a cutting gas nozzle and a laser processing machine for performing the same, the method including: arranging a redirecting mirror in a beam path of the laser cutting beam upstream of the cutting gas nozzle, the mirror being rotated about a direction which is coaxial with the nozzle axis and/or about a direction which is perpendicular relative to the nozzle axis and which corresponds to the beam incidence direction of the laser beam on the redirecting mirror. The cutting gas nozzle and the redirecting mirror are arranged in a second structural unit of a laser processing head, for rotation about the direction corresponding to the beam incidence direction relative to a first structural unit.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2010Date of Patent: October 6, 2015Assignee: TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. Patent number: 8404997Abstract: A mechanical arrangement (1) for processing rod-like workpieces, especially pipes (2), has a processing device (20) for processing a workpiece, a workpiece-moving device (6) for moving workpieces (2) relative to the processing device (20), and a device (11) for supporting a workpiece in the direction of gravity. The device (11) for supporting a workpiece includes at least one support roller (13) which forms at its outer periphery a workpiece rest. The workpiece rest at the outer periphery of the support roller (13) extends about a roller rotation axis (14) of the support roller (13) at a changing center distance. The support roller (13) is rotatable about the roller rotation axis (14) in a controlled manner and is thereby positionable in different rotational positions.Type: GrantFiled: June 5, 2008Date of Patent: March 26, 2013Assignee: TRUMPF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH + Co. Publication number: 20060156846Abstract: The present invention relates to an actuator drive mechanism with a control motor (1), which on the power takeoff side drives a control gear that includes a final control element (3) on the drive side and a final control element (5) on the power takeoff side. The final control element (5) on the power takeoff side cooperates with an adjusting element (11), by way of which engines or machines can be varied in their operating behavior. Associated with the final control element (3, 5) on the drive side or the power takeoff side is a power takeoff component (8), which includes a force-transmission-free region (25), and on which a spring element (21) is received movably within a recess (19).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2005Publication date: July 20, 2006Inventors: Achim Neubauer, Joerg Aschoff, Werner Dilger, Rolf Pierenkemper, Martin-Peter Bolz

Patent number: 6969934Abstract: The invention is based on a control drive for operating drive components or adjusting components in motor vehicles. The control drive comprises an electric actuator (12) that acts on force-transmitting elements (19, 13; 40, 41). With these, the adjusting motion is transmitted to the drive or adjusting components to be adjusted. A throwout element (19) is provided that interrupts the transmission of force by the force-transmitting elements (10, 13; 40, 41) in the de-energized state (23, 55) of the electric actuator.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2001Date of Patent: November 29, 2005Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Achim Neubauer, Joerg Aschoff, Werner Dilger, Rolf Pierenkemper, Martin-Peter Bolz, Jochen Moench

Patent number: 5893429Abstract: A power steering system for a motor vehicle, comprising a steering wheel actuated by the driver of the vehicle, at least one steered wheel, an actuator motor that is activated to assist the steering movement initiated by the driver and a locking device for locking the steering wheel in at least one predetermined position. The steering wheel is moved to the predetermined position by activation of the actuator motor upon detection of a predetermined preset operating condition. Using the actuator motor to move the steering wheel to the predetermined position frees the driver from having to manually turn the steering wheel to the locking position upon shutdown of the vehicle. This has the advantage of increasing the comfort of such a steering system since the driver is freed from having to turn the steering wheel after shutdown of the vehicle and of increasing protection against theft since the driver does not have to remember to engage the steering lock upon shutdown of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: December 24, 1996Date of Patent: April 13, 1999Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Matthias Hackl, Werner Dilger, Wolfgang Kraemer

Patent number: 5697237Abstract: An electric motor operated actuating device for a blocking button of a door lock for central locking and unlocking of doors of a motor vehicle comprises an electric motor actuatable by a door key and provided with a driven shaft, a turning lever connectable with the blocking button for transferring the blocking button to a blocking position which locks the door lock and to an unblocking position which releases the door lock, a transmission including a turning member with a coulisse and a driver rotatable about a rotary axis and provided with a driver cam which runs in the coulisse. The coulisse is formed so that the turning member in each end rotary position of the driver cam is turnable by manual actuation of the blocking button through the turning lever by the driver cam to one of the two end turning positions, and during rotation of the driver cam from the one end rotary position to another end rotary position is turned to one or another end turning position.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1996Date of Patent: December 16, 1997Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Werner Dilger, Friedrich-Wilhelm Dreier

Patent number: 5676003Abstract: A central locking system for motor vehicles has all of the opening and closing functions occurring in normal operation also in the event of failure of individual components. If necessary, a vehicle outfitted with this system can also be opened and locked when the door lock motors (50) are out of operation. When the vehicle is locked, the outer door handles (13) can be pulled without meeting resistance and without effect. To this end, a control cam (47) lifts an actuating arm (32) so that a door handle lever (35) can be actuated without the actuating arm (32) being grasped.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 1995Date of Patent: October 14, 1997Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Eckhard Ursel, Werner Dilger, Uwe Schaper

Patent number: 5501095Abstract: A bending press has a drive mechanism for effecting vertical movement of a bending tool in a bending line, a drive actuating device, and a locking mechanism for the actuating device. A stop assembly behind the bending line includes a rail, a rail drive mechanism to move the rail perpendicularly to the bending line, and at least two stops on said rail. A releasable clamping mechanism fixes the stops in position on the rail, and the stops are movable along the rail upon release of the clamping mechanism. A clamp locking mechanism locks the clamping mechanism in a clamp fixing position. The stop assembly is movable into a position in which the stops project over the bending line when the drive locking mechanism is actuated, and the clamp locking mechanism is actuatable to release the clamp locking mechanism when the drive locking mechanism is actuated.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 1994Date of Patent: March 26, 1996Assignee: Trumpf GmbH & Co.Inventors: Werner Dilger, Friedrich Kilian
