Patent number: 5200463Abstract: Aqueous, radiation-curable urethane acrylate emulsion and a method of preparing, wherein the urethane acrylate emulsion is prepared by:mixing a cyclic polyisocyanate with water at a ratio of NCO equivalents to H.sub.2 O moles of about 10-20:0-1, to form an NCO-containing urea polyisocyanate;reacting the NCO-containing urea polyisocyanate with hydroxyethylacrylate at an equivalent ratio of NCO to OH of about 15-20:10-15, to form an NCO-containing urethane urea acrylate;reacting the NCO-containing urethane urea acrylate with a polyol in the absence of solvent, at a temperature in the range of 50.degree.-100.degree.
