  • Patent number: 9470143
Abstract: A work apparatus has a work tool and a combustion engine for driving the work tool and further includes a start enrichment device for the combustion engine. The start enrichment device has a start position and is actuated via an operating mode selector. The work apparatus has a braking arrangement which brakes the work tool in the actuated position and releases the work tool in the unactuated position, and also an actuating device for the braking arrangement. To ensure that the start position can only be engaged when the braking arrangement is actuated, the work apparatus has a blocking device which prevents engagement of the start position in a blocking position. The braking arrangement is coupled to the blocking device such that the blocking device is in the blocking position with the braking arrangement in the unactuated position.

  • Publication number: 20160069296
Abstract: A two-stroke engine has a cylinder with a combustion chamber formed therein. The combustion chamber is delimited by a piston. The cylinder has a base on which extends a partition plane whereat the cylinder is separated from a crankcase. The combustion chamber is, in at least one piston position, connected via at least one transfer channel to the crankcase interior. The transfer channel passes from the cylinder into the crankcase at at least one opening. A side wall of the transfer channel has, in the cylinder, a first region wherein the wall encloses an angle of 90° with the cylinder longitudinal axis. Between the first region and the opening as viewed in the cylinder circumferential direction is arranged a second wall region. The second region has a spacing, measured parallel to the cylinder longitudinal axis, to the partition plane. The spacing is greater than the spacing in the first region.

  • Publication number: 20150363744
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for identifying persons who may be interested in acquiring a new position by tracking changes in their resumes. The present invention provides an efficient method to both prevent employee attrition and to signal to potential future employers that the person may become available soon. In general, the invention works by crawling a resume source for resumes, determining the resume owner, associating owner contact information, and tracking changes made to the resumes. If a resume is changed within a certain time period above a certain threshold activity level, then the resume owner is identified as being interested in acquiring a new position. Multiple different resumes from multiple different resume sources can also be mapped to a single owner to provide an aggregate actual resume in which changes can be tracked and used to identify employees interested in acquiring a new position.

  • Patent number: 9212269
Abstract: The invention relates to compounds for producing polymethacrylimide foam materials (PMI foams) with particularly good mechanical properties, in particular with a particularly advantageous elongation at tear. The invention further relates to methods for producing, processing, and using said foam materials. In particular, the invention relates to novel materials, the propensity of which to form tears is clearly reduced in comparison to the prior art. This is tantamount to an elongation at tear that is higher in comparison to the prior art.

  • Patent number: 9175598
Abstract: A two-stroke engine has a cylinder with a combustion chamber and a reciprocating piston for driving a crankshaft. Transfer passages connect the crankcase in at least one position of the piston with the combustion chamber and open by piston-controlled transfer ports into the combustion chamber. An inlet opens into the crankcase and an outlet is provided at the combustion chamber. The engine is dividable into four sectors parallel to a longitudinal cylinder axis. The transfer port of a first transfer passage is arranged in the first sector, the outlet is arranged in the second sector, the transfer port of a second transfer passage is provided in the third sector, and the inlet is arranged in the fourth sector. Within the cylinder the first and second transfer passages, at a spacing from a separation plane between cylinder and crankcase, pass together into one of the second and fourth sectors.

  • Patent number: 8671897
Abstract: An engine has a cylinder wherein a reciprocating piston is mounted. The piston drives, via a connecting rod (6), a crankshaft (7) pivotably mounted in a crankcase. The connecting rod is connected to the piston via a piston pin. An inlet window for combustion air is provided and controlled by the piston. The piston separates a combustion chamber from the crankcase interior space and has a piston base the underside of which is oriented toward the crankcase. To achieve good cooling of the piston and of the piston pin bearing, a first flow-guide element is provided within the crankcase interior space adjacent to the inlet window. The first flow-guide element redirects the combustion air flowing in through the inlet window in the direction of the underside of the piston base.

  • Publication number: 20130263812
Abstract: An internal combustion engine has a cylinder liner arranged in the cylinder. A piston moves reciprocatingly in a direction of the longitudinal cylinder axis in the cylinder and is guided within the cylinder liner across a section of a movement path of the piston in the cylinder. A combustion chamber disposed in the cylinder is delimited by the piston. In a crankcase, a crankshaft is rotatably supported by a crankshaft bearing, wherein the crankshaft is driven in rotation by the piston about an axis of rotation of the crankshaft. A position of the cylinder liner relative to the crankcase is secured with form fit by a securing element located at an end face of the cylinder liner that is facing the crankcase. No loads are transmitted into the cylinder liner from the crankshaft bearing through the end face of the cylinder liner that is facing the crankcase.
