Abstract: An X-ray reading device, for reading out X-ray information stored in a phosphor plate, includes an insertion device into which a cassette in which the phosphor plate is located, can be inserted, and an oblong insertion opening through which the phosphor plate located within the inserted cassette can be conveyed into an inside cavity of the X-ray reading device. In order to guarantee a reliable light seal with a simple closure mechanism which can accommodate different position tolerances and cassette formats, at least one closure mechanism is provided which can be moved in a longitudinal direction of the insertion opening to close at least one second section of the insertion opening.

Abstract: A supply arrangement for supplying several treatment liquids to a wet treatment device for photographic material provided with a plurality of treatment tanks having connection openings, the supply arrangement comprises a plurality of supply pipes each connectable with a respective one of the supply openings of the treatment tanks, a plurality of aspiration pumps each connected with a respective one of the supply pipes, a single electric motor which drives the aspiration pumps, and a plurality of aspiration conduits connected to the pumps and each extending outside so as to be each connectable to a respective one of a supply container for treatment liquid.

Abstract: An arrangement for removing sheets, especially X-ray film sheets, from a container in the interior of which such sheets are arranged next to one another in a stack, wherein at least some of the sheets are so dimensioned as to be movable toward and away from an abutment surface, includes at least one roller which engages at least the next sheet to be removed during a moving operation and moves the next sheet into abutment with the abutment surface. A plurality of such rollers may be arranged at the bottom region of the container such that their axes of rotation extend normal to the edges of the sheets which rest on the rollers in an upright position of the container in which the removal operation is performed.
