  • Patent number: 10619960
Abstract: Broadly, the present embodiment is a magazine locking device. The present embodiment locks a magazine in the magazine well when an AR-15 style rifle's upper and lower receivers are closed together. When an AR-15 style rifle's upper and lower receivers are closed, the present embodiment will allow a magazine to be inserted into the firearm. When a magazine is fully inserted into the magazine well the magazine is fixed in place. In order to release the fixed magazine that is retained in an AR-15 style rifle magazine well by the present embodiment, the upper and lower receivers of an AR-15 style rifle must be opened, or separated. The instant the upper and lower receivers of an AR-15 style rifle are separated the fixed magazine is automatically released. The present embodiment is returned to the closed position when an AR-15 style upper receiver is closed onto the lower receiver.

  • Patent number: 10365055
Abstract: This disclosure describes a device that can removably restrain multiple magazines of bullets for a firearm. A preferred embodiment teaches a main body where the locking plate boss of a magazine can be locked and unlocked on either side of the main body; thereby allowing a user to “attach” two magazines of bullets to his/her firearm, and when one magazine is exhausted of bullets, merely pull that magazine out, flip it over, and insert the second magazine. Several means of locking and unlocking are contemplated, including having a removable drive shaft that can rotate a paddle, additionally providing a drive shaft with a wedge-shaped face, and additionally providing a shaft with a key built into it.

  • Publication number: 20170307327
Abstract: A thumb rest for a pistol is disclosed, with the goal of allowing for more accurate shooting. The present invention is designed to give a shooter using this new style of shooting an additional point of control for the off-hand to utilize when stabilizing and aiming a pistol. The thumb rest is attached to a lower rail of a pistol. The present invention's assembly adds a support structure in the form of a thumb rest for a shooter's off hand to rest on and provide resistive force, while keeping the thumb from making contact with moving parts of a pistol. The present invention allows for a shooter to better grip a pistol and provide resistance to recoil forces by means of the present invention's thumb rest pad.
