  • Patent number: 6371733
Abstract: A combination of a pump and a control circuit for the pump includes a variable displacement pump having a swashplate, an input line and an output line. A pressure compensator valve is in fluid communication with the output line of the variable displacement pump. A first piston has a first end operatively connected to the swashplate wherein the first piston selectively exerts a first force on the swashplate. A second piston selectively exerts a second force on the swashplate wherein the second force is in the same direction as the first force. A first biasing element is operatively associated with the second piston. The first biasing element exerts a third force on the second piston, the third force being in opposition to the second force. Preferably, a second biasing element is provided which exerts a fourth force on the swashplate wherein the fourth force is in opposition to the first force.

  • Patent number: 5984646
Abstract: A reciprocating hydraulic motor and pump assembly includes a cylinder and a piston disposed for reciprocation in the cylinder. The piston includes a stem having a bore extending longitudinally in the stem and a piston head connected to one end of the stem. The piston head includes a cavity communicating with the bore. A spool is slidably mounted in the stem bore and the piston head cavity. A magnetic latching assembly is disposed in the piston head cavity. A displacement rod is fastened to the piston rod. The hydraulic motor and pump assembly is used in an airless paint sprayer system.

  • Patent number: 5709536
Abstract: A liquid pumping, handling and spraying system for liquid compositions and especially those liquid coating compositions having a suspension of metal particulate therein which tends to settle out of suspension of metal particulate therein which tends to settle out of suspension quite rapidly and which includes metal particulate having an affinity for adherence to metal surfaces. A fluid supply system is provided which accomplishes continuous agitation of the liquid composition to sprayed to maintain the metal particulate thereof in properly entrained suspension and even distribution with the liquid carrier fluid and which permits the use of low cost, lightweight containers for the liquid supply. A packingless pump is provided for pressurized delivery of the liquid composition from the supply container to a packingless spray gun.

  • Patent number: 5025962
Abstract: A valve assembly for attachment to a pressurized aerosol can which automatically releases a measured amount of spray at preset time intervals utilizing the pressure of the contents of the aerosol as the sole energy source to drive the valve assembly of the invention.

  • Patent number: 4862915
Abstract: A straight line disc valve for high pressure fluids is provided having a valve housing with an internal cylindrical chamber. A cylindrical rotor is aligned within the chamber with each end of the rotor being pivotable on a stationary disc within the housing. A passageway through the discs and rotor is alternately opened and closed by rotating the rotor. The rotor is actuated by hydraulic fluid acting on vanes radiating from the circumference of the rotor. Alternatively, the rotor is actuated by a gear positioned on the circumference of the rotor and rotatable within the housing. The first gear is driven by a second gear in communication with an outside power source.
