  • Patent number: 7373752
Abstract: A pistol with a firing pin includes a firing pin safety provided in the breech part. To afford a firing pin safety that is as simple and operationally safe as possible, a resilient tongue attached on an external side face of the breech part is provided, which resilient tongue forms a hook extending into the interior of the breech part, which hook comes to lie in front of a shoulder provided on the striker when the latter is in its cocked position, and the resilient tongue has a downwardly projecting web which cooperates with the trigger arm. The resilient tongue is integrally formed with an ejector spring.

  • Publication number: 20070256344
Abstract: A pistol including a grip, a barrel slide movable on the former in firing direction, and a barrel capable of being interlocked with the barrel slide. A first locking means is a projection provided on the outer contour of the barrel and having a forward-facing first inclined surface, the second locking means is a lever pivotably guided in the barrel slide and including a dog having a rearward-facing, second inclined surface cooperating with the first inclined surface, and the unlocking means is a stop provided in the grip and cooperating with a lug of the barrel. The angle of inclination of the inclined surfaces is chosen such that when the barrel impacts against the stop and the barrel slide continues its movement, the inclined surfaces slide relative to each other, and the lever is pivoted against the force of a spring such that the dog releases the barrel slide.

  • Publication number: 20070169390
Abstract: For a pistol having a hollow pistol grip in which a magazine for rounds which is insertable from below is held, a magazine catch is provided which is realeasable from either side, offers a maximum of safety, is user friendly and has relatively few parts. The magazine has a lug on its front wall; in the front part of the pistol grip a sliding block is arranged so as to be displaceable in transverse direction, which is held in its middle position by at least one spring, in which position the lug rests on the sliding block. The sliding block has a vertical groove on either side of the lug, which can be brought into the path of movement of the lug during insertion of the magazine by displacement of the sliding block in either one of the two directions.

  • Patent number: 6769210
Abstract: An aiming device for pistols comprises a rear sight (2) and front sight having a luminous dot on the side facing the eye (rear sight). The rear sight has a luminous mark and a recess which accommodates the contour of the front sight. The recess comprises a base line or bottom wall and two side lines or side walls. For aiming in poor visibility, the rear sight has a trapezoidal external contour, with the inclined trapezoid sides forming an acute angle at their upper ends with the side lines of the recess, and the rear sight has a second luminous dot centrally under the recess which is located precisely under the first luminous dot on the front sight when the pistol is being aimed.

  • Patent number: 6688210
Abstract: A pistol comprises a basic housing (1) and a barrel slide (2) which is guided movably on the basic housing (1). An insert piece (8) is mounted in the barrel slide and contains a firing pin (20) and a firing spring (33). In order to improve the reliability while at the same time reducing the production costs, the insert piece (8) forms an open internal cavity (15) in which there are guide surfaces (16, 17, 18) for the firing bolt (20). The firing bolt (20) has mating surfaces (26, 27, 28), which rest on the guide surfaces (16, 17, 18) of the cavity (15) and, on its upper face, defines a free space (24) which runs in a longitudinal direction. The free space (24) contains the firing spring (33), whose front end (34) is supported on the firing pin (20) and whose rear end (35) is supported on an opposing bearing (14).

  • Patent number: 6260301
Abstract: The pistol comprises a housing composed of plastic and a barrel slide (which contains a barrel and a breech and is guided in the longitudinal direction with respect to the housing) as well as a trigger mechanism. In order to allow plastics technology to be used to a large extent, with high precision and easy assembly, a single multifunction part, which is composed of metal, is inserted removably into the housing, on which multifunction part the guides for the barrel slide are formed and in which the elements of the trigger mechanism are mounted and guided. The multifunction part has a hole which holds the disassembly lever shaft and thus produces the connection between the housing and the multifunction part. Furthermore, a recess for a projection of the multifunction part is provided in the rear wall of the housing.

  • Patent number: 6260298
Abstract: A pistol, comprising a housing which contains a trigger device and a slide which slides on this housing and contains a barrel and a breech, in which case the breech is provided with a firing bolt which can be driven by a mainspring. In order to provide entirely safe protection against access, the breech has a hole which runs transversely with respect to the firing direction, in which hole a locking bolt can be moved and can be rotated, which locking bolt has a head which is accessible from the outside and, in the locked position, projects into the movement path of the firing bolt. To this end, the head of the locking bolt has at least one tab on its external circumference, and the breech has at least one recess on the internal circumference of the hole, which recess holds the tab when the locking bolt is in the open position.

  • Patent number: 6058616
Abstract: An aiming device for handheld firearms comprises a rear notch sight and a front sight, in which case the rear notch sight (1) has an essentially trapezoidal rear notch sight cutout (6) which diverges downward from an upper edge (5), and the front sight (2) has an essentially triangular outline whose upper tip (10) bisects the upper side (7) of the trapezoidal rear notch sight cutout (6), so that an unobstructed gap (15, 16) is formed in each case between the sides (8, 9) of the trapezoidal rear notch sight cutout (6) and the sides (11, 12) of the triangular outline of the front sight (2). This provides an aiming device which quickly and unambiguously points the eye at the target while aiming.
