    Abstract: In a method for operating a power station which consists essentially of a gas turbine group, of a waste-heat steam generator (20), of an intermediate superheater (22) and of a steam circuit with a steam turbine (14), a first steam quantity (28) is initially formed in the waste-heat steam generator (20) from the operation of the intermediate superheater (22) and is used for charging the steam turbine (14). The power resulting from this is transferred directly or indirectly into the gas turbine group and serves there as startup power for putting the gas turbine group into operation.
