    Abstract: A method for producing a surface structure with a lightning strike protective system involves providing a support structure based on a fiber-reinforced composite material. At least one arrangement of a lightning strike protective material made from or with a conductive material is applied onto the support structure so that the lightning strike protective material arrangement adheres to the support structure in such a way that it is held securely in its position. A cover material is applied in such a way that it embeds the at least one arrangement of a lightning strike protective material that is held securely in its position on the support structure, and the cover material is solidified.

    Abstract: A method is provided for manufacturing a radome. The method has the following steps: creation of a contoured fit of at least one section of an inner surface of a wall of the radome; arrangement of a plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements on an outer surface of the contoured fit; placement of the contoured fit with the plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements on the at least one section of the inner surface of the wall; establishing of a connection between the plurality of planar photosensitive semiconductor elements and the wall; and removal of the contoured fit from the radome. This method enables the simple manufacture of a radome with a layer having several semiconductor elements for the electromagnetic shielding of the interior of the radome.

The second predominantly thermally insulating layer is an oxide-ceramic foam. The colloidal process produces carbon-free oxide ceramics which, because of their high purity, have low dielectric losses in the entire usage temperature range. In addition, the colloidal process provides a simple and cost-effective production method.

    Abstract: The fiber composite for bearing structures for absorption of electromagnetic waves consists in its structure of at least three layers (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) to be different in their electromagnetic material constants, whereby one or more fiber layers (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24) are used for the layers (2 to 9). The fiber layers demonstrate alternately by layers a high or low electrical conductivity such that the electromagnetic material constants of the layers (2 to 9) composed of the fiber layers (13 to 21 and 23, 24) and binder and the layer thicknesses are matched to one another such that the reflection attenuation is integrally maximized in a given frequency range.
