  • Publication number: 20150367440
Abstract: The invention relates to the roll seam welding of container frames wherein a first welding procedure is carried out using welding rolls (10, 11) and subsequently the welded frame is fed to a second welding procedure using welding rolls (20, 21). The welding force of the second welding procedure is adjusted in accordance with a welding parameter for welding quality that has been determined during the first welding procedure. In this manner even sheet metals that are difficult to weld can be welded with better welding quality and the welding quality can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20060104711
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for producing a detachable connection between two components. The first component is elastically deformed such that a clamping surface of the deformed component corresponds to a corresponding clamping surface of the other component with predetermined play. The two components can be slotted together. After the two components have been slotted together, a pressure connection is created when the deformed component elastically reforms. The first component is elastically deformed when axial forces are exerted upon force transmission sections of the component. The axial force is converted into the desired radial deformation or movement of the clamping surface by means of joints which are provided between the force transmission sections and the clamping surface.

  • Patent number: 5781990
Abstract: In order to make it easier to wire controls or switch cupboards and to economically reduce the probability of wiring errors, the ready-for-use cable is tied to a sequence of interconnected cables. In order to produce the sequence of ready-for-use cables, their insulation is stripped off between the cables, the cables are soldered by ultrasonic waves and notched. The cable sequence matches the wiring sequence of an apparatus to be later wired. In addition, the insulation is designed as a collar or bead at the ends of the cables.

  • Patent number: 4574762
Abstract: In a device for temperature responsive switching of overflow fuel quantities from a diesel fuel injection pump to a fuel supply tank or a filter of a fuel supply system a switching valve, arranged between the fuel injection pump and the tank, is actuated by a bimetallic element. Parallel to the switching valve is provided a throttle for continuous air venting. A pressure control valve with a low opening pressure is installed in the connection between the switching valve and the filter. The heated overflow fuel quantities are mixed with cool fuel from the tank and therefore the danger of clogging of the filter, which could be caused by paraffin separation, is substantially reduced.

  • Patent number: 4418030
Abstract: The organic substance present in the form of a melt is cooled below its solidification point in a twin-screw extruder so that it crystallizes out. The crystallized material is then extruded through a breaker plate at the end of the screw extruder and further cooled. It is essential that the temperature prevailing in the screw extruder, its rotational speed and the temperature of the breaker plate should be adjusted such that from 70% to 99.5% and preferably from 95 to 99.5% of the material has solidified by the time it reaches the end of the screw, the non-crystallized liquid residue only crystallizing out during the subsequent cooling operation. Accordingly, a small residue of melt is present during extrusion through the breaker plate. In addition, extrusion is facilitated if the breaker plate is kept at a temperature in the vicinity of the melting point of the material in question.

  • Patent number: 4030057
Abstract: An inductive voltage transformer disposable between a high-voltage potential and a low-voltage potential has a first flux-conductive part surrounded by a high-voltage winding having a surface facing away from the flux-conductive part. A low-voltage winding is arranged at this surface of the high-voltage winding. A second flux-conductive part made of magnetically-conductive material is disposed in spaced relation to the first flux-conductive art so as to be adjacent thereto. Flux-conductive intermediate members connect the parts together to conjointly define therewith a cup-like core structure enclosing the high-voltage and low-voltage windings therein. The cup-like core is connectable to the high-voltage potential and the intermediate members are made of a material that is magnetically-conductive while at the same time being electrically insulative.
