  • Patent number: 5823558
Abstract: A load frame which mounts on a trailer between the trailer hitch connection and the trailer frame front cross member. The load frame is a wishbone-shaped structural unit which mounts to the trailer frame front cross member with a pivoting saddle on the two rear legs of the wishbone. The load frame includes a spindle mount connected to a wheel assembly and a retracting arm for engaging a retracting apparatus to adjust the relationship between the wheel assembly and the trailer frame. The spindle mount includes a suspension mechanism and a pivoting connection for the wheel assembly. The wheel assembly includes a spindle member which is slidably and rotatably attached to the spindle mount. A tire is rotatably attached to the wheel assembly. The tire extends downwardly from the spindle mount to roll along the ground and support a portion of the tongue weight of the trailer.

  • Patent number: 5785330
Abstract: A trailer support wheel assembly having a wishbone frame pivotally connected to the trailer frame at two rear mounting points and adjustably connected to the trailer frame at a single forward point. A resilient suspension assembly and spindle is contained by the wishbone frame assembly, and the spindle is further connected to one or more wheels which may be lowered into contact with the ground. The wishbone frame assembly may be adjustably positioned to permit the wheels to carry a greater or lesser load portion of the trailer as it is connected to a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5297025
Abstract: A power supply assembly for converting input power into desired output power comprises a plurality of printed circuit boards each having oppositely facing front and back major surfaces. The back major surfaces of the first and second circuit boards are substantially devoid of the electrical components. The power supply assembly further includes a heat sink disposed adjacent to the first and the second circuit boards, an electrically conducting spline member, which is disposed between the first and second circuit boards, being attached to the heat sink, and a plurality of connectors electrically connecting the first and second circuit boards.

  • Patent number: 4603261
Abstract: A compact document reading station for transporting a document and sensing indicia carried on the document. First and second substantially identical box-like housing halves, each with four sides, a generally closed bottom and an open top, contain an in-line arrangement of a motor and a drive roller powered by that motor as well as an off-set driven pinch roller. The rollers which partially extend through openings formed through the generally closed bottom and the housing halves are juxtaposed and connected together with the drive roller of one housing half cooperating with the driven pinch roller of the other housing half. Located between the roller openings in the bottom of each housing half is a row of spaced-apart apertures through which a portion of a plurality of photo-optic transducing head assemblies project.

  • Patent number: 4317732
Abstract: A liquid reconditioning system including first and second storage tanks for storing reconditioned liquid and liquid to be reconditioned, respectively. Reconditioned liquid is withdrawn from the first storage tank for use, as required, and returned to the second storage tank. A filter is connected to receive liquid withdrawn from the second tank to filter that liquid and transfer it to the first tank. The present invention detects a condition representative of filter blinding and responds to that condition to automatically regenerate the filter. In a preferred embodiment, the filter is a diatomite filter with filter regeneration being accomplished by mechanical diatomite displacement. A valve at the filter output closes that output during diatomite displacement and then sequentially connects the filter output to the second storage tank, for a predetermined period, and then to the first storage tank.
