  • Patent number: 5516282
Abstract: A pressurized space heater for burning gaseous fuel has as its main component a generally conical burner tube that receives at its narrow end a combustible mixture of fuel and primary air. Complete combustion in the tube is enhanced by two sets of holes disposed along the tube for admitting secondary air. The location, number and sizes of the holes are so chosen as to ensure complete combustion and to avoid the production of noxious substances.

  • Patent number: 4375545
Abstract: 6-Aminonicotinic acid is reacted with an alkali carbonate selected from the group consisting of sodium carbonate and potassium carbonate. The reaction is carried out at elevated temperature and in dimethylformamide. The 6-aminonicotinic acid alkali salt so produced is reacted with 3-chloromethylpyridine hydrochloride. The reaction is carried out at elevated temperature and in dimethylformamide. The desired nicotinyl ester is thus produced.
