  • Patent number: 10977298
Abstract: A computer system arranged to determine whether a candidate media-component matches one or more reference media-components, wherein the computer system comprises: at least one processing device arranged to receive the candidate media-component and the at least one processing device further comprising: a window generator arranged to select a portion of the candidate media-component; a fingerprint generator arranged to generate a fingerprint from the portion of the candidate media-component selected by the window generator, wherein the at least one processing device is arranged to cause the window generator to move through the candidate media component thereby selecting a plurality of portions of the candidate media component from at least some of which the fingerprint generator is arranged to generate a candidate fingerprint thereby creating a sequence of candidate fingerprints; a comparator arranged to compare at least some of the candidate fingerprints within the sequence of candidate fingerprints against fi

  • Publication number: 20210097875
Abstract: A mixed reality virtual environment is sharable among multiple users through the use of multiple view modes that are selectable by a presenter. Multiple users may wish to view a common virtual object, such as one that is used for educational purposes, such as a piece of art in a museum, automobile, biological specimen, chemical compound, etc. The virtual object may be presented in a virtual room to any number of users. A presentation may be controlled by a presenter (e.g., a teacher of a class of students) that leads multiple participants (e.g., students) through information associated with the virtual object. Use of different viewing modes allows individual users to see different virtual content despite being in a shared viewing space or alternatively, to see the same virtual content in different locations within a shared space.

  • Publication number: 20210093784
Abstract: An injection device assembly including a housing, a syringe, a drive mechanism and one or more sensing systems are described. The drive mechanism advances the syringe from a storage position to an injection position, and a plunger advances the syringe piston from an initial position to a final position. The status sensing system may include one or more main PCB(s) disposed in an end portion of the injection device assembly's housing. The system may determine various parameters related to an operational status of the injection device, including the location of the devices components, an amount of medication remaining in the device, a temperature of the medication, and whether or not the device is properly contacting the users skin before injection. The system may communicate such determined parameters to an external device via a wireless communication link.

  • Patent number: 10843821
Abstract: A method and system may be provided for determining a set of parameters for preparing a skin for assembly to a substructure. The skin may be nondestructively inspected to gather a data set relating to the skin thickness. Sets of as-built thickness values for the skin and of deviations from a nominal map of the skin thickness may be calculated. A mating area for the skin and substructure and a set of one or more locations for fastener holes in the mating area may be determined. A set of parameters for the one or more fastener holes and a set of one or more fastener lengths may be generated using the deviations. A tool may cut the one or more fastener holes using the set of parameters and the skin and substructure may be fastened using fasteners selected according to the generated set of one or more fastener lengths.

  • Patent number: 10820064
Abstract: A method for marking video media-content, comprising a plurality of frames, with a user ID. The method includes arranging a media-delivery platform to have a plurality of target devices connected thereto and further arranging the media-delivery platform to deliver the video media-content to a specified target device of the target devices, at which the user ID is being used. An image is overlaid over at least some frames of the plurality of frames as the video media-content is displayed at the specified target device. The image encodes the User ID and comprises a plurality of zones, the zones being arranged to encode the User ID. A visual property of the image is arranged to vary within at least some of the zones, and the image is arranged such that when the image is overlaid on the video media content, the image is at least substantially imperceptible to a user.
