  • Publication number: 20240103645
Abstract: A computer input system includes a mouse including a housing having an interior surface defining an internal volume and a sensor assembly disposed in the internal volume. A processor is electrically coupled to the sensor assembly and a memory component having electronic instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to determine an orientation of the mouse relative to a hand based on a touch input from the hand detected by the sensor assembly. The mouse can also have a circular array of touch sensors or lights that detect hand position and provide orientation information to the user.

  • Patent number: 4708552
Abstract: A mounting assembly for mounting an object to a plasterboard wall includes a molded plastic bracket formed with a hollow barrel at one end and a clip at the other end to support an object. An anchor having a pointed stem portion and a head at the other end, is inserted through the hollow barrel of the bracket and then drive into the plasterboard. The anchor includes an axial bore extending from the head end along part of the stem portion and a through slot extends from the axial bore toward the pointed end thereby defining two opposed stem sections. Inwardly extending projections on each stem section cooperate with a nail to expand the two opposed stem sections and to snap those sections apart adjacent the pointed end. Mating keyways formed on the anchor keys formed on the hollow barrel orient the stem sections one vertically above the other when the anchor is in place within the wall.

  • Patent number: 4351439
Abstract: A display device for feeding a column of objects forwardly on a shelf as the forwardmost objects are removed. The device comprises a bracket adapted to be secured to the front of the shelf and a flexible belt wrapped around a roller rotatably mounted within the bracket. Preferably, a low friction surface tape is secured to the top surface of the shelf over which the belt is movable. The device contains a torsion spring for maintaining a forward feed bias on the belt and a mechanism for adjusting the tension on the spring so as to vary that spring bias to enable the device to forward feed differing size and weight objects.

  • Patent number: 4148533
Abstract: A display rack for displaying in a market the combination of packaged soft drinks, advertising signs associated therewith, and chilled soft drinks for local consumption in the market is described. The display rack includes a central station in which a lithographed artwork depicting the products being sold or dispensed is disposed. A chilled beverage dispenser fits into the central section below the lithographed artwork. On each side of the central section is a shelf unit for storing and displaying packaged beverages of a like or similar kind to those dispensed in the central section of the display rack, as well as to those found in the packaged goods section at a separate location of the supermarket. A roof or canopy fits over all three sections of the display rack and holds them together as one unit. The canopy has an open top and diffuser panels in the bottom thereof to faciliate the illumination of the display rack sections with ambient light. A plurality of decorative lanterns are secured to the canopy.
