  • Patent number: 11942070
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product for speech synthesis is provided. The present invention may include generating one or more final voiceprints. The present invention may include generating one or more voice clones based on the one or more final voiceprints. The present invention may include classifying the one or more voice clones into a grouping using a language model, wherein the language model is trained using manually classified uncloned voice samples. The present invention may include identifying a cluster within the grouping, wherein the cluster is identified by determining a difference between corresponding vectors of the one or more voice clones below a similarity threshold. The present invention may include generating a new archetypal voice by blending the one or more voice clones of the cluster where the difference between the corresponding vectors is below the similarity threshold.

  • Patent number: 11726967
Abstract: A versioned file storage system (VFS) and method for operating and using the same is disclosed. In an aspect, a mechanism is provided wherein a first VFS interface unit coupling the VFS to a local data storage system is replaced with a second VFS interface unit in a coordinated procedure for taking the first unit offline, making a reliable snapshot of its data and cache structure in the VFS, and loading the same data and cache structure into the second VFS interface brought online. The first and second VFS interfaces transfer the necessary data to achieve the switch through respective side-loading daemons running in each interface. Clients in the local data storage system experience minimal interruption of services in the VFS.

  • Patent number: 9985914
Abstract: Rich attachments in emails (or other modes of communication) may be regenerated when an email with a rich attachment is sent to an application incapable of handling the rich attachment and then returned or forwarded to an application capable of handling the rich attachments. In some examples, the rich attachment may be along with a link (e.g., a hypertext markup language “HTML” link) or similar construct by the application capable of handling the rich attachment. A receiving/forwarding (or replying) application that is incapable of handling the rich attachment features, may simply keep the link in the email without processing the rich features. When the email comes back or is forwarded to the application capable of handling the rich attachment, the HTML link may be recognized, the attachment and associated metadata extracted, and presented to the recipient as rich attachment (e.g., in an attachment well).

  • Publication number: 20060171534
Abstract: A method is disclosed for encrypting messages for secure transmission over the Internet, for decryption by the receiver of such messages. The key used to encode each character of the message changes continually, in response to both its position after encoding the previous character and the identity of the previous character encoded. This continual change in the coding key yields essentially separate codes for every character of the message to be encoded, thereby making it more difficult to break codes imparted in the method described here than had prevailed in previous codes. The key is stored as a four-dimensional array, which is altered every time any character is encoded. If random data is generated and added to the beginning of the plaintext before it is encrypted, this code is capable of encrypting the message using random data unknown to the receiver, in such a way that the receiver can still decrypt the message.

  • Publication number: 20020152151
Abstract: The present invention comprises a system and method that integrates the various steps involved in creating and managing one or more investment portfolios comprised of multiple disparate financial assets, thereby allowing a usr to navigate from need, to insight, to investing and transacting in a logical and straightforward manner. Questionnaires are used to profile each user of the system to determine risk tolerance, time horizon, investment experience, etc. Using the profile and other questions presented to the user, the system generates a recommended asset allocation, which may form the basis of a financial portfolio. The user may construct a portfolio using the financial assets contained in the recommended asset allocation, or select individual assets for inclusion in the portfolio. Upon construction of a portfolio, the system provides tools to monitor and manage the portfolio through the buying and selling of financial assets.
