  • Patent number: 11559521
Abstract: A multimodal anti-emetic anesthetic/analgesic formulation for pain control not limited to postoperative pain control is described herein. The opioid-free/sparing anesthetic/analgesic formulation comprises a local anesthetic, an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, and a cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitor such as Bupivacaine Hydrochloride, Ketamine Hydrochloride, and Ketorolac Tromethamine, which is effective to significantly reduce postoperative nausea and vomiting and enhance postoperative pain relief as compared to existing prior art anesthetics/analgesics. The formulation is administered to a mammal in need of anesthesia/analgesia and can be used as a preemptive and preventative multimodal analgesic. The formulation may have a buffer to enhance its shelf life and improve pharmacokinetics.

  • Publication number: 20230003621
Abstract: Process inserts, assemblies, and related methods for use in monitoring high velocity fluids or supporting instruments that monitor and manage high velocity fluids are disclosed. Exemplary inserts include a head having a cavity for receiving an instrument, a shank, and an integral flange. The shank includes an elongated body having a first end disposed proximate to the head, a free end opposite the first end, and a threaded portion spaced apart from the first and free ends. Exemplary process insert assemblies include a process insert having a shank and a threaded support disposed around the shank. Methods of making and using process inserts are also disclosed. • Patent number: 11536535
Abstract: An accessory mounting interface for a firearm, and a related method, are disclosed. The interface has a firearm accessory, a first elongated fastener, and a second fastener rotationally mated to the first elongated fastener. The first elongated fastener has right-handed threading and is arranged through a through hole in the firearm accessory with a first end extending below first and second halves of a first slot protrusion of the firearm accessory. The second fastener has a length greater than a width, the length measured along a longitudinal axis of the second fastener, the second fastener having a plurality of straight edges. At least one of the plurality of straight edges prevents the second fastener from rotating further than a closed position when the at least one of the straight edges abuts a sidewall of an elongated slot in the firearm.

  • Publication number: 20220281398
Abstract: Among other things, a documentation of a crash involving a vehicle is generated automatically. Telematics data is received that has been produced by one or more sensors associated with a telematics device at the vehicle. Based on the telematics data, a vehicle crash period is determined that begins at a start time and ends at an end time of the vehicle crash. Based on the telematics data, one or more metrics are determined associated with the vehicle during the vehicle crash period. Based on one or more metrics, a human-readable documentation of the vehicle crash is generated automatically.

  • Publication number: 20220150878
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, apparatus, methods and/or the like for generating a resource distribution hub using for fully electronic resource distribution by using mobile device application designed to interface with an embedded Near-Field Communication (NFC) tag in a resource distribution instrument that stores instructions for processing the resource distribution authorization information. The holder (i.e., resource provider) of the resource distribution instrument can use the resource distribution instrument to communicate to a mobile communication device having an NFC reader to read the instructions and process a resource distribution according to the parameters of the mobile device application. As such, the holder (i.e., resource provider) of the resource distribution request can process the resource distribution without having to issue a credentials, aliases, pin codes, and the like conventionally used to authorizes the distribution of resources to the resource requester.

  • Patent number: 11196737
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for secondary authentication via contactless distribution of dynamic resources. When an event request associated with a user is received, a prompt for event information is transmitted to a computing device. Based on the event information that is received, a determination is made that the event request requires a secondary authentication in the form of a near field communication (“NFC”) interaction between an NFC chip associated with the user and a secondary authentication device. The NFC chip associated with the user may additionally be associated with a dynamic resource value element. Once the NFC interaction is detected, a dynamic resource value is extracted and compared to an expected dynamic resource value. If the values match, then the user is authenticated for the requested event at the secondary authentication level.
