  • Patent number: 5622135
Abstract: An anchor with pivoted flukes and a track upon which an anchor line is slidably connected to the anchor has a pair of fluke drivers adjacent the flukes which produce a significant included angle of the flukes with respect to the bed of a body of water. This included angle of the flukes enables them to rapidly penetrate and set in a bed of a body of water even under hard pan bed conditions. Typically, the anchor sets into the bed of a body of water within ten feet of anchor movement relative to the bed.

  • Patent number: 5052359
Abstract: An automatic fuel enrichment system for cranking and warm-up of an internal combustion engine in which a solenoid valve is responsive to control electronics for selectively feeding enrichment fuel to the engine air intake manifold. The valve control electronics receives a signal from the engine ignition system and controls a solenoid valve as a function of engine speed. Specifically, the control electronics energizes the solenoid valve when engine speed exceeds a preset minimum cranking threshold until the engine reaches a preset idle speed threshold, at which point enrichment is terminated. In the event that the engine begins to stall during warm-up and engine speed declines to a preset intermediate threshold, the enrichment valve is again energized until the engine reaches idle speed.

  • Patent number: 4784096
Abstract: A carburetor for an internal combustion engine which includes a supplemental fuel chamber and fuel injector valve, manually or remotely actuated, to inject a charge of fuel into the fuel induction chamber of an associated engine and provide a continuing fuel supply to the engine, over and above, the normal carburetor system, to allow the engine to reach a warm-up stage and prevent stalling out until such stage is reached where normal carburetion can take over. Automatic refill and vent valves permit fuel recharge of the supplemental fuel chamber to insure readiness of the chamber for starting at all times. An idle vent is arranged to be closed electrically or otherwise to facilitate the starting cycle.

  • Patent number: 4545318
Abstract: An anchor construction for fishing and pleasure craft, especially those with a power anchor line winch, which includes a center swivel plate in a plane transverse to an anchor blade. The centerplate has a V-slot in which slides a clevis attached to an anchor line to effect release of a snagged anchor without moving the boat over or past the anchor. A stop lobe on the anchor blade cooperates with the center plate to limit relative motion.
