  • Publication number: 20240019296
Abstract: A readout circuit for an amplitude modulating sensor includes a first and second wavelength light source; an optical coupler coupled to receive a first light signal from the first wavelength light source and a second light signal from the second wavelength light source; a frequency selector that allows for the first light signal to pass to the amplitude modulating sensor; and a detector system coupled to the optical coupler to receive the first light signal and the second light signal after the first light signal is modulated by the amplitude modulating sensor and independently detect the two signals. The detector system generates electronic signals representing the modulated first light signal and the second light signal and removes a common mode signal of the modulated first light signal and the second light signal, removing common mode noise or attenuation in the modulated first light signal.

  • Publication number: 20180306874
Abstract: An exemplary system for determining field characteristics using one dimension of a vector field utilizes a field measurement apparatus configured to acquire measurement data of the vector field corresponding to one dimension of the vector field and at least one computing device configured to simultaneously solve a set of equations characterizing the vector field by composing the set of equations into discrete counterparts, obtaining the measurement data of the vector field as input data for the discrete counterparts to the set of equations, and computing output data satisfying the discrete counterparts to the set of equations in at least one vector dimension that differs from the vector dimension of the input data using a matrices solution.

  • Patent number: 4622111
Abstract: Disclosed is an electrolytic cell including first and second inclined or nonhorizontal electrodes, means for holding the first electrode in position relative to the second electrode to form an inter-electrode zone of specified dimension, wherein the first electrode is held essentially free from support by the internal surfaces of the cell, and conductive means for electrically connecting one electrode to a separate liquid pad of higher conductivity than the electrolyte. Also disclosed is an electrolytic method including establishing first and second inclined or nonhorizontal electrodes in relative position in an electrolytic cell to form an inter-electrode zone of specified dimension for containing an electrolyte, supporting the first electrode essentially free from support by an internal cell surface, and connecting one electrode electrically with a separate liquid pad of higher conductivity than the electrolyte.

  • Patent number: RE29309
Abstract: Circulator grain bins commonly comprise upright sidewall means customarily circularly surrounding the bin vertical-axis and also a substantially horizontal floor for supporting a lofty depth of grain thereupon; there is a substantially horizontal elongate sweep auger located immediately above the floor and henced submerged at the bottom of the grain pile, the sweep auger radiating lengthily outwardly from and angularly rotatable about the bin vertical-axis. Each of at least two consecutive medial helical flights for the sweep auger is provided with separate distinct cogs extending radially externally from the flighting helical edge whereby said arrayed distinct cogs at their curved free-edges define a segmented spiroid .Iadd.wheel .Iaddend.rim submerged within the grain.
