    Abstract: A wireless hoist system including a first hoist device having a first motor and a first wireless transceiver and a second hoist device having a second motor and a second wireless transceiver. The wireless hoist system includes a controller in wireless communication with the first wireless transceiver and the second wireless. The controller is configured to receive a user input and determine a first operation parameter and a second operation parameter based on the user input. The controller is also configured to provide, wirelessly, a first control signal indicative of the first operation parameter to the first hoist device and provide, wirelessly, a second control signal indicative of the second operation parameter to the second hoist device. The first hoist device operates based on the first control signal and the second hoist device operates based on the second control signal.

    Abstract: An individual bracket for holding and securing an object to the surface of a construction form for embedding the object in a settable material, such as concrete, and exposing the face surface of the object in the finished construction. The bracket has an outer configuration formed from a plurality of side and end perimeter members that defines a recess that correspond with the outer configuration of the object. The perimeter members have a flat outer surface extending at right angles to the form and an inwardly extending flange which is parallel and in contact with the form. An upwardly curved inner surface extends from the flange to the outer edge of the flat outer surface which forms one-half of a mold to form a grout line when two brackets are connected together. The actual mold can be any shape desired to provide the various types of grout lines.

    Abstract: A disposable bracket for holding and securing an object to the inside surface of a construction form for embedding the object and exposing its face surface in a settable material, such as concrete. The bracket has a plurality of perimeter members that corresponds to the outer edge configuration of the object. The perimeter members include an inwardly extending flange which supports the perimeter edge of the object. The bracket perimeter can be closed or open and can have cross reinforcing members, if desired. The cross-section of the perimeter members making up the bracket can include a curved convex outer surface extending upwardly and outwardly from the flange to a flat surface perpendicular to the flange. The perimeter member forms one half of a grout line mold formed in between adjacent objects embedded in the finished wall. The interior of the perimeter member can be hollow to allow flexure between the outer flat surface and the inner flange supporting the object.

    Abstract: An object retention form liner is described for use in holding and transferring objects, such as thin bricks to the finished surface of concrete structures. The form liner is produced by strategically positioning a plurality of bricks in a face-up position in a flat, shallow mold. Recesses sized to fit the bricks can be provided in the surface of the mold with a sealing ridge provided between each of the recesses. The bricks are positioned in the recesses and a liquid elastomeric material is poured into the mold to cover the bricks. Reinforcing fiberglass mesh can be embedded in the elastomeric material to provide additional tensile strength to the liner. Upon setting, the liner and retained bricks are removed from the mold and the liner can be stored, shipped or used in concrete construction. The liners are attached to the inside surface of concrete forms and the bricks are held rigidly in place while the concrete is poured and sets.

    Abstract: A retainer device for holding objects within recesses provided on form liners which are attached to the inside surface of substantially upright concrete structural forms. The retainer device is attached to the form liner to hold the object against the liner so that after the concrete has been poured and set and the forms stripped, the objects will be exposed in the finished surface of the structure. Various retaining devices such as clips having enlarged heads and elongated stems with friction enhancing devices intended to be inserted or attached to the form liner so as to hold the clip in a secure relationship with respect to the objects. Another embodiment of the retainer device is a spring-biased clamp having a body encased within the form liner so that the clamp ends grip the sides of the object. In another embodiment, an elastic band is secured to the form liner ridge provided between recesses.
