  • Patent number: 11128082
Abstract: Androgynous modular connectors (e.g., modular spacecraft connectors) are disclosed herein. The modular connectors can include prismatic-shaped body with side panels, a base, and a face panel. The face panel can include three or more sides that define an opening. A claw assembly can be housed within the prismatic-shaped body. The claw assembly can include two or more extendable arms. A motor can be housed within the prismatic-shaped body. The motor can be operatively connected to the claw assembly. The motor can be configured to extend and retract the claw assembly.

  • Patent number: 10298631
Abstract: Listening rules and/or filter rules are generated or modified for use by a social analysis tool to capture and/or filter social mentions from social networking services for moderation purposes. The text and metadata of social mentions that have previously been moderated may be analyzed to identify common text and/or common metadata amongst those social mentions. The new listening and/or filter rules may be generated by selecting criteria for the rules based on the identified common text and/or common metadata. The new listening rules and/or filter rules may then be applied to capture and/or filter new social data.

  • Publication number: 20190105062
Abstract: A detachable vertical cutter for insertion into a cylinder or tube is formed as a single unitary structure. The single blade has a pair of tool attachment end portions and a cutting blade extending in a loop between the attachment ends. The cutting blade is inclined vertically relative to a longitudinal axis of a cylinder or tube into which the attachment ends can slide into. The cutting blade has a cutting edge, a portion of which when extended free of the cylinder or tube will extend a distance greater than the tube outside diameter. The cutting edge when pushed inwardly and pulled outwardly between adjacent vertebrae scrapes and cuts disc material. When retracted the cutting blade deflects into the cylinder or tube for insertion or extraction into or from the disc space.

  • Patent number: 9987060
Abstract: A bone anchor locking device for receiving a bone anchor having a shank and an enlarged head, the device has a bone anchor, a dome and a conical split washer. The receiving portion has a base extending radially outward and inwardly to a wall. The dome has a center aperture sized to pass a bone anchor. The split washer has an inner conical surface sloped to slide and expand against at least a portion of the base on insertion of a bone anchor to allow a maximum diameter of a head of a bone anchor to pass and thereafter the split washer retracts overlying the maximum diameter of the head to prevent a bone anchor from backing out.

  • Publication number: 20160235709
Abstract: A diffusion rate limiting matrix is utilized to buccally, lingually and/or sublingually deliver thioctic acid. This limited release matrix is intended for general nutritional supplementation and/or the treatment of various physiological disorders. Due to its lingual nature, this rate limiting matrix can deliver approximately IV-equivalent plasma levels of thioctic acid and is not meant to be swallowed.

  • Patent number: 9192483
Abstract: An improved spinal fusion system (10) for positioning between a first and second vertebral body, the system (10) has a body (100), a pair of polyaxial fasteners (220) and a locking bridge (102). The distal end has a slotted opening (120) extending through the body (100) and forming a gap extending between the two or more bore holes (110) to form a deflectable bridge (102) spanning the bore holes (110). The bridge (102) has a center opening (50) for receiving a set screw (20) passing through the bridge (102) into a threaded opening (52) in the body. When the set screw (20) is tightened, it deflects the bridge (102) closing the gap as the bridge (102) contacts an exterior surface of each head (210) of the polyaxial fasteners (200). The angulation of each polyaxial screw (200) is adjustable, controlled by the tightening of the set screw. Initial contact of the bridge (102) with the head (210) of the fastener (200) reduces angulation movement of the shank (220) requiring manual manipulation.

  • Publication number: 20140372204
Abstract: Systems and methods for are provided for automatically applying a tracking code to content items accessible via a social media service. In one embodiment, a method is executed by a processor. The processor generates a tracking code identifying a marketing campaign. The processor publishes the content item via the social media service with a link to an electronic content source and the tracking code. The processor generates analytics based on the tracking code. The analytics track multiple interactions with the electronic content source originating from the link to the electronic content source included with the content item as published via the social media service.

  • Patent number: 8016316
Abstract: A pneumatic drop frame trailer has lateral wheels connected to the frame by pivotal wheel support arms with airbags between the support arms and frame, a pivotal tongue member with an airbag between the tongue and the frame, a deck having an inclined ramp portion at the rear end, and a control box on the deck containing an air compressor, air storage tank, and associated valves and controls. The wheel airbags and tongue airbag can be inflated or deflated while hitched to a vehicle to raise or lower the frame evenly and horizontally relative to the ground and may also be inflated to provide stiffness or shock absorbing characteristics. When the wheel airbags are deflated, the bottom of the frame is disposed substantially horizontally and very close to the ground surface with the ramp portion substantially flush with the ground surface in a loading and unloading position.

  • Patent number: 7963429
Abstract: The mid-zone pressing tool has a base and a pressing assembly, which are pivotally connected at the rear by a transverse shaft. A pair of cantilevers extends forward from each side of an uppermost rear portion of the base. A pair of arms is connected on the distal ends by a common handle. A first coupling connects a middle portion of each arm to the pressing assembly by an axle, cam or link. A second coupling connects the proximal ends of each arm to the cantilever by an axle, cam or link. Pushing the handle down pivots the arms, engages the couplings, and transmits a concentrated downward force to the front of the pressing assembly. The cantilevers allow a range of coupling placements, including near the middle of the pressing tool. The couplings are optionally releasable.
