More particularly, devices for delivering an elutable substance to a foodstuff having an elongate body with at least one surface, wherein a composition including a elutable substance dissolved or dispersed in a carrier is affixed to at least a portion of the surface of the body are provided. Also provided are methods of producing such devices.
