  • Patent number: 8612329
Abstract: In accordance with the principles of the present invention, an electronic trading interface and method for displaying trading data are provided. Reported trade prices are received. The largest volume for a trading price is determined. The largest volume for a trading price is normalized to establish a highest volume number. In one embodiment, the highest volume number is established by dividing the largest volume for a trading price by an adjusted percentage of itself. The remaining volumes for trading prices are normalized by the same method used to establish the highest volume number. The normalized volumes for trading prices are displayed. Thus, a trader is able to read volume earlier and clearer, thus providing an economic opportunity outside the singularity of the present. This Abstract is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interprete or limit the scope or meaning of the claims.

  • Publication number: 20100114751
Abstract: A method for reducing the amount of time for a user to submit an order is provided. Volume submission allows a user to submit and revise orders with a single action on a volume entry region. Typically, a user has to set a price and quantity. Many users wait for specific prices or track prices dynamically based on predefined criteria. These trading styles eliminate the need to set the price manually for each transaction. It is advantageous to provide a list or menu of buttons or selections with preconfigured volumes for the user to choose, thus allowing the single action of choosing the volume to submit the order.

  • Patent number: 4558528
Abstract: A consumer package which may be opened-up for removal of a contained product such as a child's meal, is provided with a built-in 3-D viewer feature preferably simulating a theater such as a motion picture theater or television viewing room. To that end, side-by-side viewing ports of two different optical characteristics are provided in one wall of the package for viewing a scene or series of scenes, which may be disposed internally of an opposite wall of the package. Each scene is printed in two, stereoptic views which are of the same optical characteristics as respective ones of the two viewing ports. These views are generally superimposed, but are slightly laterally out of registry by an amount sufficient to produce a simulation of three-dimensional imagery to a viewer who places the package to his or her face and views therein with both eyes, each looking through the respective viewing port at the respective view of the scene.
