  • Patent number: 7809791
Abstract: A utility is provided for managing exchanges of information within a context involving multiple users, for example, multi-user network collaboration. The invention enables automatic enforcement of a policy regarding sensitive information. The policy may be negotiated among the users and expressed as multiple rule sets that govern access to a use of sensitive information. The utility also logs activities involving sensitive information to ensure compliance with the policy. These logs can be audited by a third party or automatically processed for audit compliance by the utility. In this manner, an environment of trust is created which encourages fruitful collaboration.

  • Patent number: 4875399
Abstract: The specification discloses a jig for a motorized miter box enabling the easy and accurate cutting of compound miters. A pair of the jigs is slidably mounted on opposite lateral edges of the table to be movable toward and away from the fence. The jig includes a registration block which is movable between a position on the table and a position clear of the table. When on the table, the registration blocks support a workpiece in a cocked position against the fence for cutting of the compound miter. When clear of the table, the registration blocks do not interfere with a piece of wood laying on the table or extending therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4605048
Abstract: The specification discloses a template for routing stair stringers. The template includes (1) a body having opposite faces and defining tread and riser routing slots and (2) structure for registering the template body on a stringer to provide a fixed tread depth and an adjustable riser height. Preferably, at least a portion of the registration structure is transversely shiftable within the template body to provide an unobstructed routing face regardless of which template face is laid against the stringer.

  • Patent number: 4355515
Abstract: A crossover conduit structure for transmitting steam from a first to a second turbine section having a conduit disposed between an exhaust portion of the first turbine section and an inlet portion of the second turbine section and a moisture removal structure situated downstream from the inlet portion axially along the conduit. The conduit's longitudinal axis is arranged generally perpendicular to the inlet portion's longitudinal axis with the moisture removal structure being disposed axially downstream from the inlet portion in the direction of the steam flow through the crossover conduit. The moisture removal structure includes a tapered transition section having first and second ends which are respectively disposed relatively adjacent and remote from the inlet portion, a pipe attached to the second end of the tapered portion, and an orifice or other means for regulating water and steam flow through the condensate pipe.
