  • Patent number: 11960707
Abstract: An electronic device provides, to a display, data to present a user interface that includes a plurality of user interface objects, and a current focus on a first user interface object. While the display is presenting the user interface, the electronic device receives an input that corresponds to a movement of a contact across on a touch-sensitive surface. The electronic device, in response to receiving the input and in accordance with a determination that a first axis is a dominant axis, moves the current focus along the first axis by a first amount and along the second axis by a second amount. The amount of movement of the current focus along the second axis is reduced to a first non-zero amount by a scaling factor that is based on one or more inputs received prior to receiving the input.

  • Patent number: 11448371
Abstract: A lighting device power control circuit configured to charge one or more capacitors through the pulsing of an inductor is provided. In one example, a lighting device includes a light source and a power control circuit. The power control circuit comprises an inductor, a power transistor configured to pass an operating current associated with the light source, and one or more capacitors configured to keep the power transistor turned on to pass the operating current. The one or more capacitors are configured to be periodically charged in response to a voltage spike generated across the inductor. Related methods and additional embodiments are also provided.

  • Patent number: 7926218
Abstract: Laser aiming apparatus for accurately and conveniently applying elevation and windage adjustments to a laser beam emanating therefrom. A preferred embodiment includes a housing, which may be adapted to be mounted to a gun; a laser module in the housing and including a sleeve having a laser mounted in the sleeve for emitting a laser beam through a front end thereof along the sleeve's longitudinal axis, the sleeve being pivotally mounted in the housing about a first pivot point on the longitudinal axes of the sleeve and the housing; a rocker pivotally mounted in the housing about a second pivot point on the housing's longitudinal axis and spaced from the first pivot point, the rocker coupled to the sleeve for pivoting the sleeve about the first pivot point; and an adjustment apparatus carried by the housing and engaging the rocker for pivotally adjusting position of the rocker about the second pivot point.

  • Patent number: 4698509
Abstract: A pattern generator for supplying beam deflection and blanking signals in an electron beam lithography system which writes polygon pattern features by sweeping a beam of rectangular cross-section over each polygon and simultaneously varying the length of the rectangular cross-section. The pattern generator converts polygon size and shape data to an upper shape signal and a lower shape signal. The shaping signals are subtracted to provide a beam length signal. The lower shape signal controls the beam position during writing of the polygon. The pattern generator further includes a ramp generator for sweeping the beam over the polygon. The ramp signal and shaping signals are synchronized by detecting the points in the sweep at which polygon turn points occur. The shape signal generators utilize interleaved operation for high speed. A blanking circuit provides uniform exposure of pattern features by controlling the width of the rectangular beam.

  • Patent number: 4424450
Abstract: A hybrid moving stage and scanning electron beam lithography system employs a circuit to make an approximate correction to the electron optical beam steering element. Correction is accomplished for observed, repetitive distortions. The position of the beam is thereby corrected for various modes of raster scan distortion. Field curvature distortion is corrected by a circuit which employs a term proportional to the square of the value of the scan direction coordinate. Keystone error is corrected by a circuit which employs a term proportional to the value of the coordinate orthogonal to the scan direction.
