Abstract: A shadow box carton having smooth continuous connections extending from a window display, and cleanly hinged front facing shadow box edges is described. The shadow box carton includes specially hinged front facing corners that result in a better looking carton that is also stronger and more durable.

Abstract: A paperboard container for an electric lamp which is in the form of a parallelepiped having an end platform recessed inwardly from an end of the container side walls. The platform is triangular and has a quadrilateral panel which projects axially into the container enclosure which is pushed to one side by a container lamp and acts as a positioner and shock absorber for the lamp. The container is formed from a unitary blank of single ply paperboard material which has a plurality of cutouts and fold lines to provide the various panels of which the container is comprised.

Abstract: A sleeve carton having flare lip panels is disclosed. A sleeve carton may be formed with flaring lip panels on the inner edge of the sleeve entrance. The lip panels bulge into the entrance, but are easily compressed. The inner edge of the lip panels catches on flat packaged items being withdrawn from the sleeve. The flaring lip panels then act as a latch for inserted flat or similar flat packages loaded in the sleeve.
