Abstract: A lamp appliance for emitting UVC light for disinfection is shown and described. The appliance includes timing controls settable by the user to control time of UVC emission and to provide a delay feature enabling a user to set the controls and exit a vicinity being treated by the lamp prior to UVC being emitted. Manual controls are redundant, including a first general power switch for bringing power to control electronics, and also a second switch initiating UVC emission. The appliance includes an illuminated display to annunciate time settings. The UVC element is pivotal on the chassis, to adjust direction of UVC emission. In one position, the UVC element is shielded to limit UVC emission to a limited size target. A remote controller is provided. The appliance is arranged with its length vertically oriented, to occupy minimal floor space.

Abstract: A combination of an air vent for passing air through an opening of a wall around an enclosed area, to facilitate ventilation, and a cover readily installable on and removable from the air vent are disclosed. The air vent includes a peripheral flange surrounding a central opening and a screen fixed to the air vent and covering the central opening. The air vent may include fixed false louvers and may bear surface texturing for esthetics. The cover is dimensioned and configured to overlie the central opening and may be releasably held in place by opposed deflectable tabs formed integrally therewith. Each of the tabs has a projection configured to enter and occupy a corresponding hole in the air vent. The tabs may be deflected to remove the projections from their respective holes, thereby releasing the cover from the air vent.

Abstract: A multi-part sump pump bucket for a sump pump installation is shown and described. The multi-part sump pump bucket may comprise at least two complementing sections which may be united to form an open receptacle, and a cap installable over the complementing sections after assembly of the latter. The open receptacle may include a raised section of floor for supporting the sump pump up off the floor, to assist with liquid pickup. The complementing sections may include flanges bearing holes for receiving fasteners, to assist with assembly of the receptacle. The cap may have openings for a liquid discharge conduit and electrical circuitry.
