  • Patent number: 6827857
Abstract: The present invention consists of an apparatus and method for supplying purified water to a faucet or other apparatus for use from a purification loop maintaining water in constant motion. The apparatus allows the user to select and withdraw the amount of water needed in a closely controlled fashion while any unused water remains in the loop where it is continually purified. A control valve with a manually rotatable spool permits the purified water to be adjustably tapped or withdrawn for various end uses.

  • Patent number: 5472208
Abstract: A game board, similar to a checkerboard, includes 10 squares on edge, and two sets of playing pieces, including 10 in each set moved by opposing players on opposite sides of the board. The players move the pieces toward each other, and perform capturing steps. The playing pieces are rings and pegs, and in the capturing steps, the rings and pegs are interfitted to form a stack. The pieces are so shaped that they can be stacked to indeterminate heights, including as many as 20 in a single stack.

  • Patent number: 4968037
Abstract: A greens marker holder adapted for affixation to the end of a putter by an adhesive. The holder includes a housing in which is mounted a cover biased upwardly by a resilient body retained in the internal space of the holder housing by a lower closure. A partial top wall is adapted for the provision of an indicium thereon. The holder is secured to the upper end of a golf club by a sheet element having a lower adhesive layer for engagement with the top end of the golf club.

  • Patent number: 4767995
Abstract: A conductivity cell is presented having a solid inner electrode and a hollow electrode whereby the inner electrode is adjustably mounted. The adjustable feature allows the cell to be accurately calibrated for various fluids having a wide range of conductivities.

  • Patent number: 4753301
Abstract: An improved clip for holding an explosive shaped charge in a carrier strip is provided. The improved clip holds the shaped charge by inserting fingers into an annular groove formed around the perimeter near one end of the shaped charge. The clip and charge are in turn inserted into a carrier strip and held in place by notches cut into the clip. The carrier and its shaped charges are then inserted into a perforating gun tube. The carrier strip is held in position within the tube by use of spring-loaded lock pins. The lock pins are mounted on the strip so that a spring will force the pins inwardly away from the inner wall. A separate threaded screw with a cam surface is engaged to hold the lock pins in their outward position thus firmly securing the carrier strip in place.

  • Patent number: 4643432
Abstract: A game board, similar to a checker board, includes 10 squares on edge, and two sets of playing pieces, moved by opposing players on opposite sides of the board. Each player moves his pieces against the other's, and upon encounter, captures the respective pieces. The pieces are respectively pegs and rings, and upon capture, the pieces involved--a peg and a ring--are interfitted in vertically stacked position, to show the capture. The upper piece is the captor, and the lower piece the captive. A captive piece can be re-captured, and that step indicated by a piece like the original captive piece, put atop the first captor piece.

  • Patent number: 4442564
Abstract: A portable golf ball cleaner having a container with relatively movable portions permitting a golf ball to be inserted into a ball cleaning space defined by inwardly projecting bristles thereof. A carrier is rotatably mounted to the container wall and includes bristles projecting to the ball receiving space to engage a ball supported on the fixed bristles therein. A manually operable handle is provided on the carrier for rotating the carrier to cause random rotation movement of the golf ball. A quantity of cleaning solution may be placed in the container for use in facilitating the cleaning of the ball by a relative movement between the ball and the bristles in the container.

  • Patent number: 4179991
Abstract: A perforating gun barrel for carrying a plurality of explosive charges in a spaced apart relationship comprises a plurality of tubular sections positioned with the ends of adjacent tubular sections end-to-end, with the end of one section overlapping the end of an adjacent section. A coupling member is disposed entirely internally of said tubular sections at each coupling location. A plurality of bolts extend through the overlapping ends of the adjacent tubular sections and are secured in the coupling member to prevent separation of the adjacent tubular sections at the coupling locations. Wiring for detonating the charge carried in each tubular section is routed through a passageway provided in the coupling member.
