  • Patent number: 5742977
Abstract: A wheel adapter that can be slipped onto the legs of equipment and shelving, such that the equipment and shelving can be rolled into a different location. The adapter comprises a wheel which is attached to a socket that has an inner socket cavity. A secondary adapter is coupled to the socket. The secondary adapter has an opening that allows the leg to be inserted into the socket cavity and secured to the wheel adapter. There are typically a plurality of different size secondary adapters. The opening for each secondary adapter is one of a number of different sizes and shapes that correspond to the size and shape of the leg. The secondary adapter may be easily replaced by another adapter so that the overall assembly can be used with different legs. The wheel can be of the caster variety to allow the equipment and shelving to be moved in any direction.

  • Patent number: 4598522
Abstract: Various forms of interlocking weatherproof roofing and siding panels are disclosed. The panels each comprise a background sheet of relatively thin material, in which are integrally formed one or more raised decorative elements such as simulated tile or shake elements. At the front or lower edge of each panel at least some of the decorative elements have a sunken or indented area integrally formed in the face thereof, with the rear or upper portion of each decorative element having a cooperatively disposed integrally formed protruding element.

  • Patent number: 4476661
Abstract: An improved simulated tile roofing panel is disclosed. The panel comprises a background sheet of relatively thin material, such as ABS in which are integrally formed one or more raised elongated tile segments, disposed in a substantially parallel spaced relationship. Each decorative element are formed for cooperative engagement with a clip member for securing the front edge of one panel to the rear edge of an adjacent panel. Alternate embodiments of the clip member and of the form of the ends of the decorative element are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4343126
Abstract: Interlocking panels having a decorative pattern thereon and having a system of interlocks for providing a weatherproof covering system for use as roofing, siding and the like. The panels may be of a readily formed material such as a thermoplastic having a decorative pattern thereon complimentary to the pattern on adjacent panels to provide a continuous decorative roofing or siding panel system. The panels have a simple hook-like region adjacent the upper edge thereof, just below the nail line retaining the panel to the roof, to receive and retain the lower edge of the panels of the next higher course in a manner so as to eliminate the otherwise exposed nailheads. Decorative patterns simulating conventional materials such as shake may be impressed into the panels by vacuum forming and/or other manufacturing techniques. Use of a staggered panel side provides for a substantially hidden junction between sidewise adjacent panels to provide a continuous and unbroken pattern.

  • Patent number: 4251967
Abstract: An improved simulated tile roofing panel is disclosed. The panel comprises a background sheet of relatively thin material, such as ABS in which are integrally formed one or more raised elongated tile segments, disposed in a substantially parallel spaced relationship. The respective ends of the tile segments are formed with cooperating portions so that the ends of the tiles on adjacent panels interlock to retain the panels in position, to present a realistic Spanish tile appearance, and to improve the watershedding capabilities of interlocked panels. Other features, improvements and alternate embodiments are disclosed.
