    Abstract: A lighting assembly includes a thermally conductive mounting having a mounting surface is provided. The lighting assembly further includes a thermally conductive carriage having a front and a rear surface. The rear surface of the carriage is moveably mounted to the front surface of the mounting. A heat sink seat having a front and a rear surface is moveably mounted to the front surface of the carriage. A light emitting device may be attached to the front surface of the heat sink seat. In use, the carriage is moveable along a first axis and the heat sink seat is moveable along a second axis, the first axis and second axis being substantially transverse.
