    Abstract: A cable support and method for retrofitting a bridle ring are provided. The support includes a relatively thin truncated generally cylindrical member or saddle having a plurality of receptor clips positioned around the outside surface thereof. The diameter of the saddle and associated receptors are such that the saddle provides a wide-based support for communication cables and the like such that a plurality of such cables may be positioned therein without jeopardizing the integrity of the system for which they serve.
