Patent number: 11995220Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying, during a CPU's execution of a first program, a branching instruction of the first program that redirects execution to a second program. Responsive to the identifying of the branching instruction, a return address of a next instruction of the first program is encrypted. The encrypted return address is transferred to the second program without the CPU retaining a record of the return address. The encrypted return address is received from the second program responsive to its completion of execution. The received encrypted return address is decrypted to obtain the return address enabling a resumption of execution of the first program from the next instruction. Other embodiments are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 2022Date of Patent: May 28, 2024Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: William C. Publication number: 20240144609Abstract: A location-based, multiuser, collaborative augmented reality (AR) system employs individual AR devices for viewing real-world anchors, that is, physical models that are recognizable to the camera and image processing module of the AR device. To mitigate ambiguous configurations when used in the collaborative mode, each anchor is registered with a server to ensure that only uniquely recognizable anchors are simultaneously active at a particular location. The system permits collaborative AR to span multiple sites, by associating a portal with an anchor at each site. Using the location of their corresponding AR device as a proxy for their position, AR renditions of the other participating users are provided. This AR system is particularly well suited for games.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Jordan Kent Weisman, William Gibbens Redmann

Patent number: 11427484Abstract: A salt water chlorinator assembly along a closed loop water circuit incorporates a chlorinator cell subassembly and a flow switch subassembly into respective fluidly connected chlorinator assembly housing interior portions. The chlorinator cell subassembly includes an electrolysis cell controlled by a chlorinator printed circuit board. The flow switch subassembly includes a flow sensor mounted upon a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). A flow switch cable selectively attaches to a PCBA connector. Water flow rate data generated by the flow switch sensor, communicated via an external controller to a smart circulation pump, is used to enable automatic adjustment of the pump speed based upon the flow rate data. The external controller may further alert an end user of undesirable flow rate deviations due to a condition (e.g. a clogged pump/skimmer basket and/or dirty filter) along the closed loop circuit requiring attention.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2020Date of Patent: August 30, 2022Assignee: AQUACAL AUTOPILOT, INC.Inventors: Rakesh Reddy, Kevin Doyle, William Kent

Patent number: 10671072Abstract: A drone receives an initiation signal which indicates that flight and/or navigation components of the drone are to be activated. Once activated, the drone then determines its initial position using a position-identifying radio signal. The drone then retrieves, from storage, dimensions of a drone-relative geofence. The drone can then calculate, using a processor, the drone-relative geofence having the dimensions with at least a specified floor and a specified radius. The drone adjusts the motor controller inputs to prevent the drone from exiting the calculated drone-relative geofence.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2018Date of Patent: June 2, 2020Assignee: Teal Drones, Inc.Inventors: William Kent McGuire, Jr., Seth Bradley Porter, George Michael Matus
