Publication number: 20160346850Abstract: Disclosed is an extension platform for securement to a conventional table saw that allows for the accurate cutting of larger workpieces. The extension platform is formed from a support wall with a resistant free, height adjustable, material rest to allow movement of an oversize workpiece without marring the workpiece. The extension platform is secured to the table saw by a rail that fits through a guide mounted on the table saw and used for support of an alignment fence. The support platform can be stored adjacent to the table saw without interfering with the table saw operation and easily deployable by use of casters wherein an extension rail can be locked to the guide to prevent movement of the extension platform.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2016Publication date: December 1, 2016Inventor: William L. Patent number: 5789645Abstract: A catalyst composition effective for isomerizing alpha-olefin to internal olefin and a process for conducting such isomerization using the catalyst composition are described. The catalyst comprises the combination of an alkyl aluminum alkoxide and a cobalt salt of an organic carboxylic acid or reduced form of such cobalt salt wherein the number of alkoxide groups in the alkyl aluminum alkoxide is sufficiently greater than 1 and sufficiently less than 3 per aluminum atom to provide an active catalyst for catalyzing such isomerization. Typically the alkyl aluminum alkoxide has the formula R.sup.3.sub.n Al(OR.sup.4).sub.p where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and are alkyl, n is from 0.75 to 1.85, p is from 1.15 to 2.25 and the sum of n and p is 3. The isomerization process using such catalysts proceeds rapidly and requires no addition of hydrogen to enhance the reaction.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 1996Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: Amoco CorporationInventor: William L. Patent number: 5545792Abstract: A process for producing an internal olefin of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and are either a hydrogen or an alkyl and m is an integer of from 0 to 20 comprising contacting a vinyl or vinylidene olefin of the formula ##STR2## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and m are as previously defined, with a catalytically effective amount of a mixture of i) an aluminum compound of the formula R.sup.3.sub.n Al(OR.sup.4).sub.p where R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are the same or different and are alkyl, n is an integer from 0.75 to 2.25, and p is an integer from 0.75 to 2.25, the sum of n and p being 3, and ii) a cobalt (II) salt of an organic carboxylic acid, at a temperature of from about 25.degree. C. to about 250.degree. C. whereby a major amount of said internal olefin is produced and only a minor amount of a tri-substituted internal olefin.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 1994Date of Patent: August 13, 1996Assignee: Amoco CorporationInventor: William L.
