    Abstract: A recoil device is provided for a gun having a barrel with a breech. The device includes a breech nut, a brake assembly, a pneumatic spring and a counter-recoil buffer. The breech nut has first and second adjacent sides. The brake assembly includes a brake cylinder that mounts to the breech nut on the first side. The pneumatic spring mounts to the breech nut on the second side. The counter-recoil buffer attaches to the pneumatic spring. The brake cylinder and the pneumatic spring internally push fluids for recoil absorption and return in response to firing the gun.

This tracking compiles information about websites the user has visited and presumably may “trust” in the event an email associated with one such site or application is later received by the user's email application. The logic component uses information and a set of configurable rule-based criteria to output a characterization that a particular email message has been initiated from a site that the user has visited or should otherwise trust. The characterization is then provided to the email filter to control whether in-bound email is passed to the user's email client inbox. Further, the logic component is operative to generate filter update commands that update the email filter in an automated manner, i.e., without user input.

    Abstract: The present invention offers a component that enables the presenter to begin presenting the first pages of the document as they become available, without having to wait on the entire document to be processed. The present invention provides an approach that is used to monitor document processing as it taking place on a server. As each page is in the document is processed (e.g., converted), a monitoring component signals a controlling component to alert it of the specific progress events (e.g., a new page available). The controlling component can immediately interface with clients using a real-time communication component, for example letting users know when each single page is available for consumption. Once alerted, an informed client can signal all other clients which page to view.

HTTP operations are issued by client systems to request changes to session resources and to request session updates. The client generated resource change request operations may be HTTP PUT, HTTP DELETE, and HTTP POST commands. The HTTP session update request operations may be HTTP GET commands. A session front end stores each received resource change request operation in a resource-specific transaction history of change request operations received from all client systems. The session front end maintains a current session state indicating the number of resource change request operations stored for each session resource.

Importantly, a pull-based subscription model can be implemented in an image cache server hosting the image cache. In particular, the model can have a configuration for registering respective ones of the application sharing viewers to receive notifications of available updated imagery.
