  • Publication number: 20240145108
Abstract: A temperature-controlled irradiation system may include an outer containment and a sealed capsule disposed within the outer containment. The sealed capsule may be configured to contain a testing material within the sealed capsule. The system may further include a temperature sensor disposed within the sealed capsule. The temperature sensor may be configured to measure a temperature of the testing material. A pressure sensor may be disposed within the sealed capsule. The pressure sensor may be configured to measure an internal pressure of the sealed capsule. The system may include a heater disposed within the sealed capsule. The heater may be configured to control the temperature of the testing material. The heater may be immersed within the testing material. A gas gap is provided between the sealed capsule and the outer containment. The gas gap may be configured to control thermal conductivity between the sealed capsule and the outer containment.

  • Patent number: 11971719
Abstract: Low profile object detection can be performed on mowers or other vehicles that may be autonomous. An autonomy controller can be employed on a mower to receive and process sensor data for a detection area to determine whether an object may be present in a region of interest within the detection area. When the autonomy controller determines that an object may be present, it can cause the ground speed of the mower to be slowed and can commence buffering region of interest sensor data over a period of time. The autonomy controller can process the buffered region of interest sensor data to determine whether an object is present in the region of interest, and if so, can alter the path of the mower appropriately.

  • Patent number: 11914763
Abstract: A system and method for conformal alignment of an aircraft-based head worn display (HWD) system defines far-field features in view of the HWD display, each far-field feature having a 3D truth position in a navigational reference frame. The aircraft GPS/IRS determines pointing vectors to each feature in the aircraft reference frame. The HWD user estimates a nominal head pose for orienting the far-field features in the HWD display, and the HWD system renders the far-field features based on the nominal head pose and pointing vectors. The rendered far-field features are aligned to their real-world 3D truth positions (either manually or with the assistance of witness cameras) and a latched pose of the HWD headtracker system determined based on a successful alignment within accuracy bounds. Based on the latched headtracker pose, the HWD headtracker alignment and the alignment of the HWD display reference frame to the aircraft reference frame are updated.

  • Patent number: 11220203
Abstract: A dunnage bag and load strap hanger apparatus includes a dunnage bag and load strap hanger and a handle mounted applicator block operative to support and affix the dunnage bag and load strap hanger. The dunnage bag and load strap hanger is fabricated from three distinct and separate parts: a generally planar support substrate and two release papers covering adhesive patches or regions on the support substrate. The support substrate in one embodiment is a sheet that is further divided into two contact members separated by a resilient coupler. Each contact member preferably has a contact body, a hanging loop distal to the resilient coupler, and in alternative embodiments an adhesive coating or other fasteners and affixers. In one alternative embodiment there is one affixing surface, and a fastener to couple two contact members together to support a load strap.
