  • Patent number: 11997866
Abstract: A novel thin film encapsulated OLED panel architecture and a method for making the panels with improved shelf life is disclosed. The OLED panel consists of a plurality of OLED pixels; each OLED pixel is individually hermetically sealed and isolated from its neighboring pixels. The organic stack of the OLED pixel is contained within its own hermetically sealed structure, achieved by making the structure on a barrier coated substrate and using a first barrier material as the grid and a second barrier for encapsulating the entire OLED pixel. The first barrier material provides the edge seal while the second barrier disposed over the pixel provides protection from top down moisture diffusion. By isolating and hermetically sealing individual pixels; any damage such as moisture and oxygen ingress due to defects or particles, delamination, cracking etc. can be effectively contained within the pixel thereby protecting other pixels in the panel.

  • Publication number: 20110153242
Abstract: A method of measuring a temperature of a wire and a current flowing through the wire with a thermocouple includes taking a first voltage reading from the thermocouple with the current at a first polarity, and taking a second voltage reading from the thermocouple with the current at a second polarity. The first voltage reading is averaged with the second voltage reading to obtain an average voltage reading, which is referenced to a correlation table to calculate the temperature of the wire. Half of a voltage difference between the first voltage reading and the second voltage reading is divided by the resistance in the wire to calculate the current flowing through the wire.

  • Patent number: 7548952
Abstract: A method of sending an email message having one or more attached files to a plurality of recipients allows customized treatment of each file as it is being sent to each recipient. Treatments may include different types of encryption, plain text transmission, security classification or user-defined treatments. The invention may be implemented in a client-server configuration with separate client and server programs or in a single integrated email program configuration for use on a single computer. The user is presented with a list of recipients, selects a recipient and then selects a treatment for each file to be used when that file is sent to the selected recipient. This process is repeated for each recipient and each file. A control file is generated by the client program, including the recipient information and the file treatment information for each recipient and each file. The client program sends a single copy of the email message, a single copy of each file and the control file to the server program.
