The invention allows for a user to generate views of the secondary data alongside or superimposed on a graph of the primary data. The method and apparatus may be used to display test data involving multiple dimensions, such as RPM, vibration and displacement trend data collected from multiple sensors during the testing or monitoring of a machine.
