  • Patent number: 7232197
Abstract: A fire-safe electronic data storage protection device is provided which allows all-time data storage backup and protection. A preferred embodiment of the device includes a fire-proof enclosure having an openable and closeable door which can be opened after the device is exposed to a fire. The enclosure is of a sufficient size to store an electronic data storage device such as a ZipĀ® drive or CD-ROM storage device or the like. Further, the walls of the enclosure are insulated to withstand fire and carry electronic connection and data relay cords, so that the electronic storage device inside may be in continuous connection with a main database and a power supply. The electrical and communication cords are configured within the insulation and walls of the enclosure to ensure no fire reaches the inside of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 6065431
Abstract: The present invention provides a portable, low-profile scrubber device which is battery powered and provides enough torque to scrub an animal's paws. The present invention includes a lower housing holding a battery, motor and gear system, with a drive shaft extending from the housing. A second housing is secured to the lower housing and holds water and cleaner. A rotatable brush or brushes are situated in the second housing operably connected to the drive shaft from the first housing. The brush(es) are at least partially submersible in the water of the second housing. The housings are thus operably connected in a liquid-tight fashion and are low profile so that the paws of a dog, cat or other animal can be easily cleaned by the brush(es) in the water of the second housing.

  • Patent number: 6009990
Abstract: A modular transfer and clamping unit for positioning in alignment with a pallet conveyor system. The unit having a stationary base and a secondary frame communicating with and movable relative to the stationary base. The secondary frame having a pair of in-line sprockets at opposite ends of the secondary frame and an endless conveyor trained around the sprockets. A motor drive drives the endless conveyor. A hydraulic driven wedge assembly moves the secondary frame relative to the stationary base between a first position wherein the secondary frame is aligned with the pallet conveyor system and the second position wherein the secondary frame is displaced vertically below and parallel the first position in locked engagement with the stationary base to provide precise and repeatable pallet location while at a work station.

  • Patent number: 4145966
Abstract: A portable hand held and manually operated label printer and a method of its use in transferring information from a master plate onto a pressure sensitive label. The printer consists of a magazine section wherein a continuous roll of serially linked pressure sensitive labels are installed with the roll end thereof threaded through an appropriate passage into a manually operated label receiving and printing group. A printing roller arranged on a spring biased slide within the label receiving and printing group, is manually displaced to travel over one of the pressure sensitive labels, sandwiching it against a master plate, transferring raised characters formed on the master plate into the label.
