    Abstract: A gas-generating propellant for use in combination with sealed volume teloping cartridges yields high pressure for cartridge operation and low residual pressure after cool down. The propellant formulation comprises a high percentage of condensible materials including a binder and an oxidizer and an optional fuel such as light metals and light metal compounds represented by boron, lithium, and lithium aluminum hydride.
