    Abstract: The present invention is an animated ornamental fixture for installation in a garden or similar outdoor area frequented by visitors. Upon the approach of an observer, the fixture commences operation to surprise and entertain by elevating a decorative flowerpot to reveal a small figurine beneath, and optionally emitting sounds, and after departure of the observer, the fixture ceases operation.
