  • Publication number: 20230147788
Abstract: A flow suppression device adapted to be connected to a high pressure fluid system includes an outer flow containment member of a porous and flexible construction. The outer flow containment member has an upstream end and a downstream end opposite the upstream end. The upstream end includes an inlet opening adapted to receive a flow stream of pressurized fluid from the high pressure fluid system and the downstream end being substantially closed. The flow suppression device also includes a primary inner flow containment member of a porous and flexible construction contained within the outer flow containment member. The primary inner flow containment member has an upstream end with an inlet opening adjacent the inlet opening of the outer flow containment member and a downstream end opposite the upstream end of the primary inner flow containment member.

  • Patent number: 11326915
Abstract: A flow meter includes a cylindrical body having an exterior surface and an interior surface defining an inner diameter of the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body also includes an outlet end and an inlet end. The inlet end is shaped and dimensioned for selective attachment to an inlet pipe or hose having an inner diameter that is small than the inner diameter of the cylindrical body. The flow meter also includes a gauge tap formed within the cylindrical body, the gauge tap being positioned adjacent the outlet end of the cylindrical body at a position between the outlet end and the inlet end. A pressure gauge is secured within the gauge tap for measuring the pressure within the cylindrical body and ultimately the flow of fluid through the cylindrical body. A nozzle is attached at the outlet end of the cylindrical body and at least one nozzle insert is provided for selective attachment to the nozzle so as reduce the size of the outlet in order to extend the normal range of the flow meter.

  • Patent number: 7137568
Abstract: A flow diverter for diverting an initial flow stream of pressurized fluid from a source of pressurized fluid. The flow diverter comprises a housing having an upstream end, an inlet opening in the upstream end, a downstream end generally opposed to the upstream end, a top plate extending between the upstream end and the downstream end, a bottom plate generally opposed to the top plate and extending between the upstream end and the downstream end, and a pair of generally opposed lateral sides extending between the upstream end, the downstream end, the top plate and the bottom plate. The upstream end is adapted to be attached to the source of pressurized fluid and the inlet opening is adapted to receive the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid from the source of pressurized fluid. The downstream end is adapted to divert the initial flow stream of pressurized fluid toward the pair of generally opposed lateral sides.

  • Patent number: 5301942
Abstract: An amusement game of skill which can be used as a fund raiser for various purposes, such as charity, while also serving as an advertising media. The game is in the form of a free-standing display and includes a receptacle having a mouth at one end, a base at its other end and a central body portion therebetween. Disposed within the central body is a plurality of pins forming a maze through which a coin travels and a coin rest pedestal upon which a coin must rest in order to win the game. The plurality of pins can be formed on replaceable cards in numerous maze patterns, thereby creating many games in a single device. The base is such that it supports the game in an upright manner while also functioning as a money collection box. The receptacle is formed so as to be watertight, thereby allowing the game to be filled with a fluid in order to alter a dropped coin's path of travel.
