  • Patent number: 11978820
Abstract: A method of fabricating a single-crystal silicon photovoltaic cell includes providing a single-crystal silicon wafer and a structural support member. The single-crystal silicon wafer has a first major surface and a second major surface. Each major surface extends along a major surface plane. The single-crystal silicon wafer has a thickness greater than 100 micrometers and a dimension greater than 50 mm. The method further includes mounting the structural support member to the first major surface or to the second major surface. The method further includes reducing thickness of the single-crystal silicon wafer to a thickness less than or equal to 100 micrometers while the single-crystal silicon wafer is mounted to the structural support member. The method further includes providing the first major surface with a diffusion and a metalization grid and providing the second major surface with a back surface contact.

  • Patent number: 5813965
Abstract: The machine includes a vacuum head which is mounted to rotate on the outer end of an elongated arm adapted to be pivoted upwardly and downwardly about a fixed pivot by a servo drive. As the arm pivots, the vacuum head picks either a carton blank or a tray blank out of a magazine and transfers the blank toward a conveyor. During the pivoting, the vacuum head is turned relative to the arm and, when the blank is a carton blank, the turning motion brings the blank into engagement with a fixed plow which erects the blank. During final downward movement of the arm, the vacuum head is held parallel to the conveyor and moves toward the conveyor with a vertical plunging motion. When the blank is a tray blank, such vertical plunging causes the blank to be erected by flights on the conveyor as the blank is loaded between the flights.

  • Patent number: 5445388
Abstract: A playing board is arranged to include an annular array of first spaces, with a central space, with the organization further including a deck of bridge-type cards, including a joker as well as a number of playing chips to be distributed among the players in an equal quantity. A dealer distributes a plurality of playing hands to each of the players and the players in sequence place chips upon each of the individual first through tenth playing spaces relative to each hand, wherein each hand is initially indicated by a sequential playing of the first through ninth spaces, where subsequently, a game similar to Rummy is played, wherein sequencing of cards is effected and subsequently poker-like hands are played, wherein the object of the game is to finally effect discard of playing cards, with a winner being decided by the first player to discard all cards and thereby obtain all remaining chips within the central space of the game board.

  • Patent number: 5056026
Abstract: A user accessible electornic fuel injection system is disclosed which is modifiable to fit a range of engine configurations, preferably with a staged fuel injection curve and with the capability of recording speed, fuel delivery rate and other engine performance parameters. The system includes computer software which directly controls the fuel injection hardware in an automobile. This software contains a serial communication routine which services the external requests of a control program running on a personal computer, plus engine management software which controls timing functions based on engine related information.
