  • Publication number: 20080073347
Abstract: A reusable closure assembly for attachment to a container includes a slide assembly that includes a pair of lateral channel portions; a slidable portion rupturably coupled to each of the lateral channel portions between the lateral channel portions; and a cover portion, extending laterally from one of the lateral channel portions. The cover portion is sized and shaped to be folded over the lateral channel portions and the slidable portion to thereby form a top of a three-sided slide enclosure. The slidable portion is slidable within the slide enclosure after being ruptured from the lateral channel portions.

  • Publication number: 20080073343
Abstract: A lid for use on a container includes a base, having attachment structure associated therewith for attaching the base to the container, and having a material dispensing orifice formed or formable therein. A slide channel is formed as part of the base. The slide channel includes an open top section defined by a pair of sidewalls, the open top section having an opening width equal to or greater than a narrowest width defined between the pair of sidewalls. A slidable portion is slidably disposed within the slide channel and is movable at least partially over the material dispensing orifice. A cover portion is attached to the base, the cover portion forming a top of a slide enclosure for the slidable portion.

  • Patent number: 7306138
Abstract: Embodiments of a product dispensing apparatus, gate and methods for assembling and using are disclosed. A particularly, useful feature of the embodiments is a movable gate having tabs with perforation which may be formed as part of a unitary body configured for assembly into a product dispensing apparatus. According to an additional feature, the gate may be configured to separate from the tabs upon first use and then be used to open and close or at least partially close a portal for accessing products within the product dispensing apparatus. According to other features, the gate may also be configured to slide up and down, from side-to-side or move within a channel formed in part by the tabs at the perforations and by other gate-enclosing panels.

  • Patent number: 7018473
Abstract: A dispenser to dispense towels selectively treated with a fluid, includes a compartment having an open upper end and containing at least one dispensable towel therein. A removable cover is disposable on the compartment to form an enclosure with the compartment. A towel dispensing conduit extends through the cover to a top opening of the cover, the conduit defining a path through which the dispensable towel is extracted from the compartment and dispensed from the top opening of the cover. A fluid application assembly is associated with the removable cover. The fluid application assembly includes a fluid reservoir, oriented over the compartment when the cover is disposed on the compartment, and being configured to receive and store the fluid therein; and a fluid applicator, in fluid communication with the reservoir and being selectively operable by a user to selectively apply the fluid to the dispensable towel as the towel is dispensed from the dispenser.

  • Patent number: 6817287
Abstract: A system for applying print information to a plurality of sides of a package includes a printing station including a printing platform to receive and support the package to facilitate application of the print information to the package. At least one print applicator is associated with the printing station, and is movable with respect to the package on the printing platform. The print applicator is configured to selectively apply print information to a plurality of sides of the package. A print application actuator is configured to move the print applicator and the package relative to each other to enable the print applicator to apply information to the plurality of sides of the package.

  • Publication number: 20040099719
Abstract: A product dispensing apparatus includes a housing and at least one panel movable between open and closed positions. The movable panel may be completely separate from the other portions of the dispensing apparatus and simply incorporated into the other portions of the dispensing apparatus so that it can be movable. Alternatively, the movable panel may form an integral portion of the remaining walls of the product dispensing apparatus. The product dispensing apparatus may include indicia to attract attention and provide an enhanced visual appearance to the product dispensing apparatus. The product dispensing apparatus according to the present invention may dispense any type of products, including treats, beverage containers, food items, personal hygiene items, medical products, and any other type of product that lends itself to dispensing from a container.
