  • Publication number: 20210250237
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for state-based entity behavior analysis. In an example, entities of a computing environment may be represented using a hierarchical entity web. In some examples, an entity may have a state associated with it, which may be modeled using a place/transition (PT) network. Events within the computing environment may be evaluated by transitions of a PT network to determine whether an entity should change state. If an entity transitions from one state to another, one or more actions may be performed, including, but not limited to, taking a remedial action, generating a recommendation, and updating the state of one or more associated entities. Thus, aspects disclosed herein may provide a high-level overview of the state of entities of a computing environment, but may also be used to view in-depth information of entities at lower levels of the hierarchical entity web.

  • Publication number: 20210226972
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for identifying anomalous network behavior. In aspects, a network event may be observed network sensors. One or more characteristics may be extracted from the network event and used to construct an evidence vector. The evidence vector may be compared to a mapping of previously-identified events and/or event characteristics. The mapping may be represented as one or more clusters of expected behaviors and anomalous behaviors. The mapping may be modeled using analytic models for direction detection and magnitude detection. One or more centroids may be identified for each of the clusters. A “best fit” may be determined and scored for each of the analytic models. The scores may be fused into single binocular score and used to determine whether the evidence vector is likely to represent an anomaly.

  • Publication number: 20210187332
Abstract: A door breach device can include: an elongate shaft having a first end and an opposite second end; a pivot mechanism at the first end of the shaft; a spearhead rotatably coupled with the pivot mechanism and having a tip on a tip-side of the pivot mechanism and having a shaft cavity on a shaft-side, where the shaft cavity is adapted to receive the shaft therein; a restraint slidably received on the shaft-side of the spearhead and on the shaft; a handle protruding from the shaft; and a hitch at the second end of the shaft. A method of breaching a door can include: forcing the spearhead through a door until the restraint releases the spearhead and the spearhead rotates by the pivot mechanism so as to form an angle with the shaft; and pulling the spearhead against the door until the door is breached.

  • Patent number: 10954982
Abstract: A construction nailing screw is configured to be used in like manner as traditional nails but rotate during driving through threading, providing retention of the construction nailing screw in the construction material(s), and the ability to be removed from the construction material(s) by reverse rotation. The construction nailing screw is characterized by a shank with a head on one longitudinal end, and a tip on another longitudinal end, with external threading that provides minimal friction during installation and mild resistance during removal, and two cutouts extending along the exterior of the shank and through the external threading. The head allows both a manual installation tool and an automatic installation tool to strike the head and drive (install) the nailing screw. The external threading has an upper side with a high pitch relative to the longitudinal axis of the shank, and a lower side with a low pitch relative to the longitudinal axis of the shank.

  • Patent number: 10950068
Abstract: A mobile telecommunications device configured to log driving information associated with a vehicle is described. The mobile telecommunications device comprises: a sensor set comprising an image sensor and at least one of an audio sensor, an accelerometer or a positioning module, or a combination thereof; a user interface; a processor; and a memory. The mobile telecommunications device is configured to: determine, based on the inputs received by the user interface and sensor data from the device's sensor set, a start of a driving period during which the mobile device is removably affixed to the vehicle and the vehicle is in use, wherein the start of the driving period is determined without data from sensors of the vehicle; process the sensor data from the sensor set during the driving period to derive driving information associated with how the vehicle is driven; and store a selection of the driving information to the memory.

  • Patent number: 10817626
Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to design-model management associated with an architectural layout. A set of architectural objects may be ingested from a data source. In response to ingesting the set of architectural objects, a set of spatial zones may be determined. The determination can be made based on the ingestion of the set of architectural objects. In response to determining the set of spatial zones, a design-model of the architectural layout may be established. The establishment of the design-model can be based on the set of spatial zones.

  • Patent number: 10685148
Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to managing a set of spatial zones associated with an architectural layout. A first spatial zone of the set of spatial zones is detected. The first spatial zone has a first spatial zone size value. By comparing the first spatial zone size value with a threshold spatial zone size value, it is determined to convert the first spatial zone. Based on proximity, a group of conversion candidates is identified from the set of spatial zones. Based on the first spatial zone and the group of conversion candidates, a second spatial zone is determined using an architectural criterion. Using the second spatial zone, a design-model of the architectural layout is established.

  • Patent number: 10565324
Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to managing a set of candidate spatial zones. The set of candidate spatial zones are associated with an architectural layout. A cluster of architectural segments is detected in a data source. The cluster of architectural segments represent a set of architectural features of the architectural layout. Based on the cluster of architectural segments, a set of junctures is identified. Using the set of junctures, a set of contours is determined. Based on the set of contours, the set of candidate spatial zones is generated.

  • Patent number: 10515158
Abstract: Disclosed aspects relate to managing a group of geometric objects. The group of geometric objects is correlated to a set of spatial zones associated with an architectural layout. A set of contours is detected. The set of contours has a set of junctures. The set of junctures is based on a cluster of wall segments. The cluster of wall segments represent a set of walls of the architectural layout. Based on the cluster of wall segments, a set of wall edges is resolved. The set of wall edges interrelate with the set of contours. Based on the set of wall edges, the group of geometric objects is determined. The group of geometric objects represent the set of walls. Using the group of geometric objects, a design-model of the architectural layout is established.
