  • Patent number: 4379828
Abstract: An image receptor element for the dye diffusion transfer process contains an image-receiving layer, which has increasing dye absorption capacity with increasing distance from the light-sensitive layers. Such an image-receiving layer may be obtained by use of mordants in concentrations which increase with increasing distance from the light-sensitive layers or by use of at least two mordants of different dye absorption capacity, the mordant of higher dye absorption capacity being arranged in a partial layer of the image-receiving layer further away from the light-sensitive layers. Such image receptor elements provide higher dye densities with lower total concentrations of mordants.

Date of Patent: April 12, 1983
    Assignee: Agfa-Gevaert Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Werner Liebe, Karl Lohmer, Willibald Pelz
  • Patent number: 4297438
Abstract: Color images are obtained by chromogenic development of a colorphotographic material comprising several differently spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsions and color couplers associated thereto, a hydrophobic cyan coupler being incorporated by means of a hydrophobic coupler solvent and a hydrophobic yellow coupler being incorporated without a coupler solvent, when a color developing composition is used comprising a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic color developer compound. The color images have good stability of the cyan partial image to tropical conditions and good lightfastness of the yellow partial image.

  • Patent number: 4119464
Abstract: In a process for hardening gelatine containing photographic layers, in particular multilayered photographic films, using conventional hardeners and quick acting hardeners, the surface of a layer which contains gelatine and complex forming organic or inorganic salts is exposed to the action of an aqueous solution containing a wetting agent and a quick acting hardener, the quantity of water applied with the solution being calculated so that the layer or multilayered film undergoes swelling to a certain extend, and the degree of swelling is maintained for a period from 10 to 200 seconds, whereupon the layer or multilayered film is dried at a temperature below 30.degree. • Patent number: 3941601
Abstract: This invention relates to a color photographic material with at least one silver halide emulsion layer having improved stability against crystallization and which contains in dispersed form a open chain keto methylene coupler a naphtholic or pyrazolone color coupler substituted with a 2-cyclo-pentyl-4-t-butyl-phenoxy group in a non-coupling position.
