  • Patent number: 9630357
Abstract: A device for transporting a hollow body provided with a neck which includes a vertically oriented internal wall, the device including at least elements for gripping the hollow body by engaging with the internal wall of the neck, which are mounted on the lower free end of a rod and movably connected thereto, the rod being mounted to be vertically movable between a high position and a low position, wherein the gripping elements are mounted to be radially movable between a retracted position in which the gripping elements are vertically inserted from top to bottom into the neck, without contacting the internal wall, and a deployed position in which the gripping elements engage the internal wall of the neck, and the change in position of the gripping elements from the retracted to the deployed position and/or from the deployed to the retracted position is actuated by a magnetic field.

  • Patent number: 8640860
Abstract: Device (1) for gripping an object such as a blow-molding container preform (3), comprising: a guiding body (12); a stop body (13), mounted so as to move axially relative to the guiding body (12) along an axis (4) of the device, intended to be aligned with the object (3) to be gripped; a mandrel support (7), equipped with a gripping mandrel (15), able to move axially relative to the guiding body (12) and having a plunge-in travel (8) going from a set-back position to a plunged-in position in which the mandrel (15) is capable of gripping the object (3). The stop body (13) has, together with the mandrel support (7), a system of support stops (18, 19) arranged so that the mandrel support (7) drives the stop body (13) axially onto a terminal portion of the plunge-in travel (8). The device (1) includes a return means (34, 36) mounted between the guiding body (13) and the stop body, for the purpose of driving the stop body along an axial set-back direction opposite direction of plunge-in travel.

  • Patent number: 7771188
Abstract: A gripper device for gripping the neck of a hollow body from the outside, which gripper device includes an annular body supporting at least two gripper parts each having its own bearing face, said gripper parts being movable substantially radially and constrained by an elastic device in such a way that the gripper parts are able to occupy a first radial position in which they bear against a buffer of the annular body with their bearing face projecting into the annular body, and a second radial position in which they are pushed back with their bearing face bearing against the exterior wall of the neck of a hollow body engaged in the annular body. The bearing faces of the gripper parts are bowed in the overall shape of an arc of a cylinder.
