  • Patent number: 4776290
Abstract: A power take-off shaft driven combination machine for ground preparation which can be coupled to a tractor vehicle is equipped, with a view to a short, light and constructionally simple construction, with levelling tools 107 arranged directly behind the tractor vehicle 38 which level the wheel tracks left by the tractor vehicle 38, with a rotor-tiller 20 arranged between the levelling tools which is driven via the power take-off shaft in a direction of rotation U which sustains the direction of travel F and which throws the excavated earth against a movable rake 24 or against a flexibly arranged mat 31 and with a vertically adjustable crushing roller 202 arranged therebehind which has a peripherally at least substantially closed roller body 203 with peripherally directed rows of teeth 204 and scrapers 207 arranged between and spaced apart from the rows of teeth.

  • Patent number: 4509438
Abstract: A combination implement for agricultural cultivation has a main frame liftably connectable with a pulling or dragging machine and supporting a cultivating device, and an auxiliary frame carrying a crumbler roller which supports the combination implement during cultivation and is adjustable relative to the main frame, wherein a supporting member is provided between the main frame and the auxiliary frame and has a play so that the main frame with the cultivating device arranged thereon can be upwardly deflected relative to the auxiliary frame or the crumbler roller during the cultivation.

  • Patent number: 4315547
Abstract: An attachment for agricultural machines includes a frame having a leading and trailing portion, a first soil-treating unit located at the leading portion of the frame and a second soil-treating unit located at the trailing portion of the frame. Between the first unit and the second unit there is located on the frame wheels for supporting the frame when an agricultural machine provided with the attachment moves along a road. The wheels are displaceable relative to the frame between a first position in which the wheels engage the ground and a second position in which the wheels do not engage the ground. The frame is so coupled to a lifting device of the agricultural machine that, when the wheels are in the second position, the trailing portion of the frame is supported on the ground by the second soil-treating unit.

  • Patent number: 4214634
Abstract: An arrangement for coupling a cultivating attachment to a cultivating machine has a spring-suspended support articulately coupling a respective roller unit of the attachment to a main frame of the machine. The support includes elements for adjusting the relative elevation of the main frame and the roller unit while permitting relative vertical movement between the same. The support includes spring element opposing such relative movement with shock-absorbing action. A blocking element is provided cooperating with the spring-suspension support and movable between a blocking setting preventing the above-mentioned relative movement and an unblocking setting not preventing such limited movement.

  • Patent number: 4204579
Abstract: A cultivator has a frame normally carried on the back of a tractor and pulled in a predetermined direction along the ground. A plurality of tines extend downwardly from this cultivator and penetrate the ground. Each tine is pivotal about a respective axis perpendicular to the direction of travel and parallel to the ground and is biased into a normal central position by means of a respective hydraulic actuator. The cylinders of all of the hydraulic actuators are connected together in a closed network so that if one tine is forced backwardly the other tines will be urged correspondingly forwardly and vice versa. In addition each such tine, which also may be mounted on a parallelogrammatic linkage, may carry a V-shaped backwardly extending blade increasing the mixing and aeration effect of the cultivator.

  • Patent number: 4047576
Abstract: A cultivator wheel is disclosed for use in agricultural machines. It has a hub and tines which project substantially radially from the hub and are provided with pointed outer end portions. These tines are bent out of the central radial plane of the wheel. Portions of the wheel are formed with cutting edges that are inclined circumferentially of the wheel as well as relative to the central radial plane of the same.

  • Patent number: 4033417
Abstract: A support is connectable with an agricultural machine, and a plurality of agricultural tools is provided which are mounted by mounting elements on the support so that they can be adjusted relative to the support. A single arresting element is provided which arrests all of the tools in their respective positions. The tools have mounting portions extending into a passage in the support and either the passage itself or an auxiliary element in the passage has a wedge face to engage the tool mounting portions.
